He never treated this like an actual project, nothing more than a side hobby. He doesn't feel accountable. He can just abandon it whenever he wants to nobody will care after a while that's what he thinks.
I just asked Skudd what's the plan after he lost most of the drawing notes? Is he gonna animate all the lost notes and stick with the same story Gwen & Four Arms ?
Or he's going in different direction?

None of this makes sense, unless he's moved on to heavier tuff than w**d...
It's been clear since the beginning that the storyboard has been under constant revision, usually not a good thing.
Looking forward to see what becomes of this, I hope he posts all the 'scraps' he's done - I do find them adorable.
I wonder how he pulled of Meru, that was quite impressive for a one-man-band

It's productive procrastination. Most animators don't even do storyboard, they do blocking. That's how they do it, or layout at best. That's like him working on a school assignment as a way to postpone studying for a much more important upcoming exam. It's a useless redundant unproductive productive thing.

I can't get angy over it. For me seems like Butt just got into a creative hell and start to cut what he judge unworth of seeing daylight. Honestly, is better than pump incohesive shit pretending to be a masterpiece.

I imagine a storyboard does help when there's more than one animator ?
In this case it seems the storyboard consisted of random post-it notes...which is kaos in another guise...

Getting payed $30.000.00 a month is certainly no reason to expect any sort of competence.
I'm sure that, if he was working a RL-Job, his supervisors would feel the exact same way as you do, no hard feelings at all.
Thinking about it, our buddy Skudd doesn't really need to do anything as long as he doesn't feel like it.
If he decides to quitt this project all the way, in like half a year, more power to him!
After all he's the one who's paying here isn't he?!

In a studio any storyboard that takes more than a month is shit. Skudd is lazy, he knows he's procasinating. Storyboard is unncessary and if it is necesary it shouldn't take that long. Fuck you Skudd you lazy bum peace of crap.To be fair, most animators put out shorter work.

But he is human so I forgive his behavior. If he wants to take a break then he should, but it's wrong to steal people's money only for him to post a bloody DOODLE.
Also if he is in a team. God help us all, he can't help himself why bother having a team in the first place? The only thing that he needs to mitigate is probably his ignorance of accountability.

The first lesson was learned with that one monster farm game that after nearly a decade never got finished.
patreon and other such subscription based models incentivize scummy "creators" to be as slow as possible because they're getting paid no matter what, as opposed to a "buy it when it sdone" business model which forces them to GET IT FUCKING DONE.
