Some starting perks have you doing day at night and vice versa. Pretty sure you can be a vampire? Not positive. If you have any of those perks, it's intentional. Otherwise, I really don't know. I've never heard of that happening without the perks.

Can anyone help me out here, I downloaded and extracted the game applied the fix and updates but when I start the game it asks for saves and i have none I tried all the things in this thread the flash player trick and everything and still nothing seems to work when I open the folder where saves are supposed to be theres ntg there I have tried everything now just frustrated I wasted so much time and energy on this stupid game..... I'm not too tech savvy any advice on how can i get the saves?

Save once and allow the game to store local files. Save again and it should stick. Make sure that your saves aren't being deleted. CCleaner can delete saves, for example.
