Sadly I doubt there will be more than an extra hour or two on top of the original. If they had any plans or even hopes for seriously expanding the scope of the game they would be actively bragging about it. Instead the steam page only mentions:
Over 200+ individuals Images
4k resolution support
Fully voice acted scenes
Multiple endings
Dynamic conversation system
Timeline and Recollection System
Extras & secrets
Brand new OST made by the Critical Bliss Sound Team
Steam achievements

Of these the only things not really present in the original would be those "Extras & secrets" and I highly doubt those would somehow end up constituting 20 hours of content.
They also hinted something about having animated stuff added to the remake as well.

hol' up, there was a video?
There's several videos of cypress talking, what do the inform about? Just the shit they have planned for the game. If you watch the videos it's all very confusing, since on the last video of cypress he states that he lost his art team, something that never said before and I think it's a pretty big deal no telling that to the fans before, still he wants to fund the voice actress and i hope that shit isn't another problem for the development of the game if it that exists.

There was a storyboard demo video thing posted in the discord sort of recently that supposedly showed off their new scene handling. But at this point all art is being provided by CriticalBliss, so who knows what's going on art-wise. I do know CB has a pretty significant art team - one of the big things they do for developers is leverage that to provide assets.

He did say he wanted to "be present" so the personality of the keeps real, i just think they kick him in the ass and tell him to fuck off if something doesn't please him, or maybe he just lied.

if CB is holding you hostage, blink twice
I dunno why you quoted me in an entirely different game's thread, but I was being serious. Critical Bliss is a publisher rather than a game developer, and one of the ways they convince game developers to use them as a publisher is by retaining staff who can provide art for games. Outbreak Games is making liberal use of this for the remake.

As for the video itself, I can't really share it because I don't have a good place to upload it. The whole thing was a twelve or so second demonstration of how they want to handle scenes for the remake, and it was sort of an animated comic deal where panels showed up one by one to "show" the scene as it happened. Nothing to really write home over, but certainly not the normal textbox+background that you expect from visual novels.

Edit: actually I can just share a few screenshots from the video:

Are the comic panels themselves animated in some way (AKA blinking, action lines, zoom in/out etc) or they just slide/fade in when it's their turn?

The second panel in the demo was animated in the form of Noelle's hand moving towards Jason's chest, but that was it for the demo.

Hmm... can't agree with the length of time the project has taken but I can see why it would have taken so long. Turning every scene into a full-page comic and then doing some minor animations is a bold move cotton.

Minor animations hoping they don't be those live 2d animations that everyone can do, what shit show would be to see that lmao.

Disgusting live2d animation all over the place.... I think this game will be like that too, under the guise of “look how hard we tried, gobble it up fanboys .
Of all live2d animations there's 15% or 20% that are good, the rest of it are simply trash.

The android version is buggy as hell anyone got a working version with the Bonus day
Searching the thread would have told you that the android version never worked when it was released December 2020. Download windows version and use JoiPlay.

So there's a possibility that they are gonna use Unity for the remake.

I estimate literally we'll get the re-release by maybe January 2022, bonus day by fall 2022 and first Tropical Daze episode by mid 2023. That's being realistic.
You're actually way too optimistic. Snow Daze remake might be done by 2023, then they can start Tropical Daze, which will take up to 2026.
I was just reading my comments and oh boy, this aged well, 2024 and still nothing lmao.
