Yes, I tried the cheat mod, and it does make the game more fun; but it doesn't address the fundamental issue of the clunky control system, which is unnecessary and doesn't add value to the gameplay, in my opinion.

You go on and on about seduction, but I didn't even complain about that portion of the game. I had no problems with eventually finding girls through ratings, etc. Like more than half of your reply was about reviewing models, and I didn't say anything about that process besides accidental pain being affected by the clunky controls, which makes it unrealistic. I don't mind difficulty in seduction or the ratings system, but the mechanics of sexual intercourse shouldn't be harder than IRL due to the control scheme, imo.

Reason I mentioned reviewing is because that's how you build a good database of women for your game if your saving. Many know this now.

I wasn't trying to scold you or anything like that but I was replying based on how many have said similar and have learned by taking their time rather than accusing the clunky physics and slamming the authors hard work...

You mentioned "terrible" "pain" "struggle" "fatal flaws" etc and basically were unable to get what you wanted or struggled because you haven't made or have a good game yet...??

everything will be a mess if you're just jumping in not reviewing and not saving.....of course monkey helps but I'm just saying you can have less pain or even train the girls, if not she might be broken and that's why you move on to the next and make modifications, can even be done with or without monkey.

It's a ragdoll like game, sometimes looks broken/clunky, sometimes it's challenging and even impossible without saves....but yea the controls aren't perfect but they're definitely not impossible either... I use remote and mouse most the time no issues...

if you want better examples I just shared a squad of women in the share section. You can read about why I selected them and enjoy them if you want.

Otherwise your comment seemed to slam this game unfairly imo, because I was once like you with the same thoughts....except I never made a post till I started enjoying the game and wanted to learn or share more about it regardless of flaws.

Look, if I were writing a full review about the game, I'd discuss how great the model generation idea is and how the unique ratings system allows for custom gameplay. I'd give it at least 3 stars, probably 4/5 with Monkey and Better Experience mods included. I feel like I haven't played this game enough, so I won't review for now.

However, given that the dialogue and ratings are mostly menu-driven, I don't see the point in manually controlling your player character to such a minute degree, and I consider this a flaw that impedes my enjoyment of the game. If I say the dialogue is repetitive, that doesn't mean the whole system is bad because you can still get clues about girls' hidden stats from their replies. I just think the controls are janky and makes navigating it cumbersome. For example, you tell the girls to change positions through the dialog menu, but then you have to manually control the player to grab their clothes or pump your hips with extreme accuracy. It just isn't fun to me.

It's a matter of preference. Some people prefer 1st person POV for everything, and I don't know how difficult it is to script actions in this game, but I see the poses being static positions where the model jumps to a particular set piece. Personally, I see that lending itself to easier manipulation, like you click the body part to caress it or poke it, and it plays out various scripted animations. Sure, some players would prefer the freedom to act this out manually, but I see it as unnecessary work for very little reward. After all, the goal of those actions is to simply increase stats. Like I enjoy management and training games because they challenge decision-making, and this game has many elements of that; but, this fine tune penis aiming gameplay ain't for me. You can't even see where you're aiming, and IRL you'd just grab your penis and feel your way in, which is impossible to recreate in a game and just makes the situation very awkward and unrealistic.

I don't expect the dev to change anything, and it's okay if the game isn't for everyone, so you don't have to get so defensive. Sorry if my wording was too harsh, and I do want to like this game because of all the other elements I that do enjoy, but this control issue really does bother me. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't have posted if I didn't see the massive potential in the concepts behind this game, so please don't assume I only criticized it without giving it a fair shot.

No doubt and no worries, your right it's a personal preference, all I was stating is that those difficult moments can change easily with giving it time building what you like and hate about the girls...but as you mentioned the system will probably not change much even after that, it's meant to be the way it is I guess....only some will enjoy, but really it's more than just a clunky game for a lot of us and yea we can't find anything to replace it with... honestly comparisons all failed to create whatever magic this has for some of us lol

I wasn't commenting on the english, but the big spammy instructions it reels out in response to a simple phrase. I don't remember that now, but it was something that appears on the talk dial. It couldn't make that match, but responded with a lot of potential matches, most of which aren't natural expressions, not something people would say, so it's immersion breaking both ways.

EDIT: I do remember my phrase now, it was 'show me your tits'. Though that's not on the dial, that's one of the ways it'll display in dialog when you select 'costume'->'let me see your'->'breasts'. It can also will display if I enter 'show me your breasts' in the language dialog.

You have Decay and Sensitivity reversed; Sensitivity is rate of increase with stimulation, Decay is how much the increase rate falls off as arousal rises. These settings make it impossible for a girl to climax.

I'd like to know how I can reconfigure genetics so that I don't have to manually adjust these for each character it's applied to.

Not only is it unnatural for any character, I've seen it expand to huge blocks of illegibly fine print that fade before I can squint hard enough at it. Also, every one of those suggestions are things you wouldn't say to a character. This is not natural language!

Ah yeah, that's a Better Experience thing, it's not even part of the base game, I stopped using that feature cuz its not really that good rn
Edit: mostly cuz even if u say something coherent sometimes it just opens the window anyway so its pretty useless

In some ways Better Experience is a better experience, which is why I've remained silent so long on the features that aren't better (can be disabled, which is one way to dismiss feedback,) or different but not better or worse.

Language input does make an easier interface than the dial, and you can bypass the formulaic intro and easily transtion the girl around the room without the need to unpose every time. I think it could be more natural and more user-friendly, but "natural language" is really outside the scope of this game anyway.

But under the hood it's just radial menu button clicker, and game does not like auto-clickers. It is buggy and for that reason it is disabled by default. It remains in the mod for technical reasons.

I would suggest this approach or disable those pools completely and let game generate characters, because alternative genetics is bad at personality genes. And "cheaty" characters make this game very boring.

But if you are handy with json and gene names you can try to edit default genetics settings.

Well, I've used natural language interface before, but this doesn't quite accept natural language, it's just a simple command line interface with english words. But it doesn't have to be genuine NLI, just a good command line. If I enter 'pay her', it should unambiguously match that to the same command the dial activates. 'pay her for sex' should also be unambiguous, esp considering one of the suggestions provided when it rejects that is the same as that string.

Guidance values are not important in this context.

But what exactly does guidance do? What's the difference between guided and unguided pools?

And I agree that it could be better. But when I saw that sometimes it breaks menu, and I've got no way to fix it, I just abandoned idea of text commands.

What's the difference between guided and unguided pools?

Unguided pool produces genes that based on values and their ratings. It is normal mode.

Guided pool uses config to "guide" gene values. Depending on settings, it restricts genes to some range(through value attribute) and shifts genes towards specific values(guidance attribute). At this moment lots of personality genes are locked. Unguided pool will ignore those restrictions and will try to guess new value direction using rating only.

When you extracted the game files, you had to create a new folder to put them in, correct? Well you extract the files of the Monkey mod in this folder that you created, it's as simple as that

And and I assume the interactive console and 'gio' commands are part of your mod, since they save/load Better_Exchange files. What does 'gio' stand for, and is the random generation drawn from your pools or the base game?
