I'm seeing an average of over 100 sprites added to each SU Unity update, and even when 'just modifying' a number of those, that takes time... and who knows how many hours that SR7 spends trying to 'debug' the stuff he's setting up using Fungus...

There are over 11,000 sprites in SU 2.3.95 btw in case you were curious.

Hearing SS and SR7 talking about the SU Unity framework, it sounds like a house of cards that's ready to crash at any moment, which is why they've been adding new locations that don't rely the scheduler screens and such, to avoid those 'minefields' when they can.

Setting up new locations 'divorces' those locations from previous dependencies, so I can understand why SR7 is taking that approach by setting up Themyscira and such.

Fungus may be an 'easy' tool to use, but it's far from perfect. And from what I was able to glean from the twitch stream interview, SR7 is set in his ways, and likes to do things old school. Stubborn-ness and all that.

I don't consider over 100 new sprites in each update a 'trickle' just sayin... For some developers, that'd be considered a lot of work. And if SR7 needs to take two months off every year to recharge his creative juices, well he's been doing that for years now so it's not a mystery.

Again though, you've already dropped your Patreon support, and are now acquiring the games by other means, so you made your choice and no longer support them, which is how these things work. The Patrons that do still support GS Games know what they have 'bought in to' and that's their choice, not yours. As I pointed out, they are supporting the GS Games studio in it's various forms, not just SU Unity.

Damn, sure would be a shame if that was completely fucking wrong ( count the amount of sprites in 2.4 - if you count anywhere close to 100 then you're in dire need of medical assistance or need to go back to school) and if SR7 wasn't repurposing already existing sprites/scenes...That's my L for sure, SR7 definitely putting in a ton of work for each update.

I pray that you're getting paid for going to bat for this lazy fucker and aren't actually stupid enough to believe that he's not half-assing this shit at this point.

Stargirl IMO had the best scenes this update. Black Canary had some copy paste scenes (which imo don't bother me too much since there's only so many poses these characters can end up with before you run out of ideas, but I understand people's complaints and concerns.) Starfire pisses me off because she has no exhibition scene. I still can't get the circe stuff to work at all and that's a shit update for the amazons. He should have added more sex scenes with the characters already there.

As I said, if you aren't a paying patron, then your bitching is meaningless. If the paid patrons are willing to continue to support GS Games, that's their call, not yours.

The last few updates have had over 100 new/modified sprites added in EACH update. I have no idea if any new Themyscira sprites were included as I haven't sorted them yet, but there are 11,325 sprites in the current update. The last update (2.3.95) had 11,205 sprites. That's over 100 new/modified sprites that were added to the game since 2.3.95, a number of which aren't in use yet, but then that's always been the case, there's a few sprites in the SU Unity builds that haven't been seen ingame yet for at least few updates now, if not years...

And no, I have no affilliation with Gunsmoke Games, and do not have a Patreon or similar such, have never spoken to/been contacted by SS or SR7, and I've been sharing my own content here for free for years now as my time permits, so I'll let my post history here speak for itself. I just like the art in this game, and like the backstory and such.

I am working with other F95 Zoners on an unofficial proof of concept demo of course, but that's a 'nobody is getting paid and we have no affiliation with GS Games' community effort to have a moddable alternative available for people that want to make their own new content/mods at some point, and also to explore alternatives to the methodologies to how the game mechanics/routine is handled in SU Unity. Oh, and to not have the saves inside of the registry, and have many save slots/options...

In any case, if this game annoys you so much, maybe you should go play some other game that can better meet your expectations. I've been told that there are literally thousands of other games that you can find elsewhere on this forum (13.6K threads in the Games section)...

Well, the proof of concept community demo SU Ren'Py thingie won't help you YET, but once a few more things are in place, I'll reach out to the Android port types and see if we can get something to distract you with for a bit... There's a lot of content to add though, so it's a long term project thing...
