There's also occasional references to v30, that has a complete and working translation and might be better for newcomers as there is sufficient content to play through while waiting for a complete translation for v0.32?

There was also a reference to the GUI being completely separate and needing a different file?

It took me a couple of seconds to find this post.
I don't know how much time you spent and didn't find it in the end, it raises a lot of questions.

Someone posted this start.qsp earlier and I tried it, it gave errors when trying to leave the save (cogwheel) menu.
I then deleted the start.qproj file that is in the same folder as start.qsp and - the game works without errors (so far).

Without changing the variables the names will remain in Russian, unfortunately I am not a proger and cannot change that.

You can change the variable names, just be sure to use the same name for the same Russian variable. Use Qgen's "search and replace all" function and it will change every variable in every location in Qgen. If the variable name is something like "russian_name_ngh" then change it to "sarah_carter_ngh". If there's a second variable for the same woman like "russian_name_russian_nickname_ngh" then change it to "sarah_carter_nickname_ngh".

At least this was the way I used when I translated a QSP game years ago.

Yep it is a very detailed walkthrough but it is an old one some of it is no longer true as the quests / tasks have been removed either in content or story line or code change but it is a very good walkthrough to give you a lot of info.
The one I provided is sparce and in Avengers's English {both he and me are not native English speakers} (mostly) it is current as it is derived from his own code within the game.
Both would give people a decent indictor mixing and matching for example the Rada (Happy) content varies not choosing home allows you to blackmail her and go down an early alt type route much more difficult as she now hates you this is new content.

I will say this for those characters who have not received a strong reworking in the game, this guide will be useful.
There is also a manual in the game, but I forgot where it is. But she's pretty boring and doesn't have a lot of characters.

Yep exactly what I said it is very detailed except Avenger ripped the shit out of the old game (Lights playthrough for example) deleting many of the scenes
So follow this detailed guide as much as you can

Avenger will change stuff very slowly based on how he worked previously.

Personally I can speak write Russian (though I am Japanese), so I do not use a guide I just provided it for those struggling or have never played Avengers game before this detailed one has almost everything in it bar some recent additions .

TBH that will help people discover on their own, Avenger does not like walkthroughs TBH neither do I it's just without a guide and only with the mechanical English translation the game is near impossible to figure out.

It's a big plus that you speak Russian, so you can enjoy the game, I mean the dialogues.
Because the English translation completely kills the desire to read the text.

Unfortunately I have very little time during the week, because I have to take care of a family member who is seriously ill.

470 files checked, 203 need to be edited.

Overall status about 20%.





I will take a break for a few days now.

Ps: I also brought back the Katya Father Question Quest from 0.29.

503 files checked, 170 are still left.

I had some time and continued a bit.

The original jokes (normal and pervert) were replaced by random jokes from the internet.

547 files were checked. If there was text, it was translated by LM Studio.

126 are left.

The original Russian texts become too long to fit into the text box.

If you're talking about applying the patch and you already have the eng .qsp file, all you have to do is go into your SoB folder > assets > standalone_content and replace the start.qsp with the new one. That's it. Once you start the game like you normally would, the main menu and 18+ screen after starting a new game will still be in russian, but the playing the game after those screens should be in english.

You should only have ONE .qsp file in your standalone_content folder, and you shouldn't have to rename them.

Hi, is it possible to translate a QSP game into other languages? How could I do? I would be interested in translating it into Italian... If I could have a file with all the text of the game (preferably in English), I could translate it and send it back translated, indicating both languages to facilitate insertion of the correct text.

Just go back to playing the game by clicking on a location it seems to work ok after that

They are not files they are info of what he has done so far with the new Russian start file it's not eng as it says all the user interface will still be in Russian. The start file includes all the work he highlights in those separate files, they are only info files. He also states that, in his opinion, he has completed only 20% of the work he intends to do. He will give many excuses, it's up to people who pay him if they believe him. This game was/is great IMO, but updates are slow and the translation by Avenger is well..... not so good he could easily use Ai, but he seems not to want to.
