Is there a command to give military bot crates, I've spend ages digging around in the game files and found just about everything but that. Yes I am a moron, but I'm still asking for help :(

Edit: The idiot (me) found it, "ITMCrateBotsMil".

Hello,
Could anyone share a save from 9.0 just after 3 main quest space battles?
I've been struggling with it for 30 minutes and I haven't gotten through the first fight.
Thx

do you have equiped mining tool mk2? without it can't get prometium, if you did, just keep trying, use to get those from regular asteroids in outer belt, sometimes get a few or none, others maybe 10 or more
Yeah, they only seem to drop from regular asteroids and not the crates.

I didnt make a vid for those but if your ship is fully decked out: move one or two right until the 3 krell bunch up. Nuke them with 4 BFT, done.

You must have 5 or 6 AP (decked out out Engine MkII) or you won't make it most likely
And more or less ignore those seeker. You can eat 5 at least before it gets critical.

EDIT: Made a short vid (see attachment)
95% of the times it plays out like that.
Only when the seekers are really dodgy it might go off the rails.

Made it in my test environment, ignore the Voron shield.
Thats about as strong as a quantum shields, makes no difference here.

How does one access the Pet Store?

I started new with the day 85 start point, retrieved my multiverse pod, and everything seemed fine but now I've got T'Ris telling me I need to purchase a plug at the store... yet no visible way to access the store when I'm at Arellarti Station?

do you mean how to make the pet store owner sell you stuff, as he says only krell customers attended..? need to talk to krognath he will give you a quest (at 19:00 or later at pirate station cantina) and upon doing it, give you an item for store owner recognize you as customer even not being a krell

And after you accomplish the mission, you can buy on the Krell Station by clicking in this sign

What's the point of linking the newer, bugfixed, version separately just under where the link to the actual game usually is?

The fact that each version's save is not compatible with the new version after that is really pain! :cautious:
I bet the new version won't be compatible with version 0.90 saves either

saves never carry over
always go to new cotent and other bs
Saves never carry over, true. And that's a good thing.

It's easy to carry a saved game over in a visual novel, where the game doesn't collect much information about the characters (like a number of love or domination acts). It's virtually impossible to do this in a management game, especially if the mechanics in the game are changed or refined from release to release. If what was previously random is now based on some character's attribute, you have to come up with some value of that attribute, and it has to be consistent with what the player has achieved already. It's simply too complex: too many corner cases to take into account, too many opportunities for some obscure bugs. The dev's effort is much better spent on creating new content than on maintaining saved game compatibility.

Besides, this game does offer a few solutions to carry over... not your whole progress, but enough to make playing fun. First, at the game start you can choose to begin at many milestone points (not necessarily the end of last release). Second, you can send a multiverse pod from the past release to the new one and pass your most valuable belongings this way.

I have never seen a complex management game which would maintain full saved game compatibility between releases. Lab Rats 2, Brothel King, Ashford Academy, Hentai High School+, Porn Empire... they all require you to start the game from scratch on each release. Even Free Cities (if you remember it) had trouble importing old saved games.

TL;DR: there's nothing to fix, the current procedure works very well.

As for "always go to new content", I never do that. Going through the whole game again doesn't take a lot of time, and it reminds me where I am in all the quests. But that's just me, your preference might be different. Still, nobody's forcing you to play this game, right?

And your "other bs" comment is so worthless that's I'm not going to respond to it. If you want an answer, write your arguments precisely.

With a game as complex as this one, achieving save game compatibility requires a lot of effort. This effort doesn't move the game towards being finished; instead, it distracts the dev. From my point of view, maintaining save game compatibility is a wasted effort.

And yes, the 1.0 will not be compatible with 0.90 saves. If you want something to carry over, just use a multiverse pod.

How in the flying fuck do you offload hyper intelligent high value Bots?
I cannot for the life of me figure it out. But I've come across multiple bot containers with bots worth millions I can't do shit with.

:cry::cry::cry:

Illegal Bots can only be sold or Sex Arcade submitted at the Pirate Outpost - I'd forgotten

I'm a beta tester. I also start from the beginning each iteration of the game. I have played a lot of iterations but there are a number of them that I did not complete. For example, I played 10 different versions of V0.9 because of bugs and errors. I did not complete any but the last 2. I know that several other beta testers do go to the new content and that's fine. It is not the way I play. Both ways need testing. I'm currently testing V1.0 and use my multiverse pod for most of them. I like this game and, when it is completed, it is a game that I will replay, occasionally, from the start, in future months.
