As far as I know, the game is still being worked on.

It's still going strong on the Patreon, though under a different name. It's called Highroad Travelers now.

Once marked as Abandoned, we like to see some actual deliverables before moving to a new status - so, we'll look for updates with interest.

To be fair, this doesn't seem contradictory. It seems the artist is producing art and commissions to try to make money for a family emergency. So of course she'd still be posting on her own site.
Still though, this should've been a more clear update of hiatus instead of playing ambiguity.

Yet what I don't understand is that the artist should be getting paid by all the Patreon money piling up for months on the game's Patreon site. She didn't work for free, did she?
