None of that rules out what I said? It's all vague and a bit evasive anyway.
"kinda ruining the fun" was probably freeloaders bitching about not getting certain content they wanted (something that this website is filled to the brim with), and content being leaked meaning they didn't see financial imbursement from the same people that were bitching in the first place. Being entitled and being a freeloader seem to go hand-in-hand a lot, and it's especially enraging when those people make demands while not providing money to support the actual man hours that go into appealing to demands and changing drawings and shit. There is no "fun" difference between the simple process of drawing nude women, and drawing nude women with the occasional dick in their vicinity, and without any of the factors outside of the actual drawing process, there'd be no difference. It's all just about the behaviour of the "fans", whether it was being demanding or whether it was leaking paid content (and there's a reason every single fuckin' OnlyFans page has the whole "blah blah it is illegal to share content posted on this page and you will be prosecu-blah blah blah"). Not being rewarded enough for your work and having it leaked and then being disrespected by the same people all affects the """fun""" and appeal of making that kind of content. It cheapens and hollows the whole process, from beginning to end.
I'd bet the difference now is just that they have a smaller, but more "loyal" customer base who...I dunno, just like seeing nicely drawn-art that's still NSFW but more softcore? I really wish they did porn again, but oh well, if they're happy with what they've got, then that's that. I get that it's not "fun" to have your Patreon/whatever income be as volatile as it might be when your art has a lot of interest for leakers.
EDIT: Oh, also, I know Blushy herself would argue against this (slight social Stockholm Syndrome and all), but she needs to drop Spicy (or whatever the fuck the guy's name is). The guy's absolutely freeloading their relationship, and if I had to guess was the catalyst for the anti-porn decision, 'cause as somebody who offers nothing of value to short bite-sized porn panels, I bet he felt quite useless just telling Blushy "yeah, just make porn of this guy", and wanted to somehow contribute more to the whole endeavour. Maybe he does now (though I've got no idea, 'cause I don't really care to follow somebody who just draws girls in lingerie, 'cause it's just boring and blue-balling), but man, I'd just prefer Blushy draws. None of any of the "lore" or "story" they've injected into any of their work ever amounts to much of anything.
Oh, and yes, I do genuinely just like to type, before anybody bitches about me writing a long-ass, meandering comment.
