That was an epic ride in my opinion.
Loved the game. Loved the humore and refrences.
Loved the art. Loved the amount of content on the last upsates.
I really enjoy Akabur's work. always had.
He really lacks skills in game mechanics design (and it showed that in the last updates he threw out the "gameplay" and just let you have event after event like a normal VN). But it's not like his gameplay choices are ruining the expirience, at least not for me.

It's understandabke that Jasmine and Hermione had less content than the rest of the girls, seeing as they have their own games. And considerring "Witch trainer Silver Mod", going back to it for a gold editiion feels unlikely.
I just hope to see season 2 at some point, and also look forward to what might be his next game.
I hope it will still be connected to the "Genie Plot" he created so far.

not yet on itch.io but if you have older version installed then download win version and copy it's \game folder to mac or linux *game* folder and play.

I hope it's not Magic Shop, I find it really boring. It's just "click there and see what happens" no story, and you've seen everything in 15mn. It could be relatively enjoyable is there was billions of CGs, but we all know Akabur is a very good but slow artist, so he can't offer that. Therefore, it's better when he compensates the lack of CGs with his excellent writing skills.
But that's just my opinion, maybe a lot of people like Magic Shop, after all, there's been endless requests for the return of Potions in Witch Trainer Silver, which is exactly the same boring shit. Unfortunately, in most countries the law forbids us to shoot people with bad taste.

What's next?

I'm sure the most attentive of you remember the Space Janitor teases. The idea was to have a little game where instead of Genie you - the player would be the main character. It was supposed to take place on board of the Placeholder and have at least 3 of the girls for romance with quite a few endings. But now I realize that a game like that would be more of the same: same characters, same setting and such. It's not a bad thing of course but I want to take a short break from Star Channel.

The Plan. Right now I am contemplating working on a small update for Magic Shop. That would be the easiest route to take. But at the same time I have an idea for a small sim-trainer game. I think if I keep things simple enough I could release it in a reasonable time-frame. Anyway, I am at the planning stage right now and nothing have been decided yet.

Episode 12 is the new episode I was referring to. It came out only just over a week ago ago. I think there may have been a minor bug-fix release since then, but as I didn't encounter any bugs I didn't pay that much attention.
