It took him approximately half a year to release this update, and considering the amount of content in it, you'll have to wait a LONG time. I love the humour in Akabur's games, but god damn, he does not like to work.

Last I remember, it takes Akabur so long to update ANYTHING he start because, yes, he's lazy and likes to play games and shit, but he's also doing all the work himself, coding, drawing, coloring, story, dialogue, animation (term used lightly), and that he doesn't take help, hired or otherwise. I'm sure there are Plenty of people that would help him without pay. He just, wants to do it himself I guess.
Aside from the other reasons, part of what took this one so long was that he was burnt out on it, and wanted to take a short break, making that TMNT 'game' (more of a kinetic novel really). He has said that due to all the complaints, he will be trying to make shorter, more frequent updates, but who knows if he will follow through, or even if that will make people happy. Some people will bitch no matter what you do, so I doubt it will help much even if he does.
