What you say doesn't really make sense tho, at that point every adult game is free if you summon f95 as an argument. The fact that without f95 you'd have to pay to access the game when it is released and not some time after makes the game not free, that's all. And that's ok, it's only logical to sell your products after all.

if i show you a picture before everybody else, then a week later i reveal my picture to everybody. that make my pictures free. its still free even if you decide to give me money for the picture, because you dont have obligation to give anything to get the picture.
simple as that, if you cant understand that, then you need to learn back what "free" mean. akabur doesnt "sell" his game on patreon, its only donation from peoples who dare to give him money because they want. they are no obligation at all.
not really needed, its pretty linear.
all you do is
- to talk with chars and check their info/logs (inclued MC/genie)
- pass days
- check store to buy items if they are (that unlock scenes/events)
- make girls dance/strip/etc..
and you progress like that for the whole game. lastest 2 updates have notification "!" in the chars box to see wich char have quest (also a "quest" tab if a quest is ON to remember what you need to do)
Princess trainer and Witch trainer both had a clear plot and goal. The genie needed to return back to his reality and a part of it was to have some (alot of!) fun. Star Channel is too random. A space station ("pirate-radio") producing porn in a world where their internet has none. It just lacks depth. It would also nice to have more gamey-themes like a possibility to affect the events and even ...to fail (doh!)

4 months for this update? I think Akabur is not really giving attention to this project than his earlier games. I am not sure though I am following this project since the beginning, but WT and Princess Trainer were already finished when I played them. Maybe it takes a lot than I imagined to develop these kind of games. Overall, I am disappointed.

You do know that more or less all patreon games have a public build at some point right?That would make all of the free too. I mean sure his games do not stay patron only for long but it really does not matter. There are also no "early releases" there are just "releases" and if you want to play the game from the start you need to pay. Also on his website you cant even download ver 4.

I love Akabur games (usually), but I agree with you. In addition to this game being s-o-o-o-o-o-o grindy- it just doesn't have a great deal of substance and the premise is somewhat vague. Yes, the other games were grindy too...but they didn't feel like it because you had more interactions/"naughty time" with more characters, there were other locations, you were given more to do when you were left alone to your own devices, the controls/plot/goals were more defined and obvious. This just feels really static. It's like Akabur meets FNAF- you're essentially just standing in one location and monitoring/controlling the environment around you, you don't really feel like you're a part of said environment. Also, why can't we get frisky with L.O.L.A.?
She could be a hard-light hologram- like Arnold Rimmer was in Red Dwarf... Another thing, the economy seems really borked- Ashlin get 40 credits to dance and Jasmine only gets 20 to strip completely AND your amounts don't increase with the increase of viewers/subscribers? How exactly does that work?! You have no incentive to up the ante if there's no payout at the end of it. AND while the Chibi characters are cute in their little windows- the level of detail that's normally in an Akabur game just doesn't really feel like it's all there in this one. While I can't speak for how he handles his website (I don't even use it to play his games), this doesn't really take away from the fact that you don't have to pay to play the game.
Based of what I played, both patreon version and public version, I've found little difference other than bug fixes and some moments that barely do much for the game. If the argument is the necessity of payment to play his game, then it matters a lot that his games don't stay patron only for long. Since its not even a requirement to pay if you can just wait.
