Same versions but as steam is a one time purchase, I suggest (if you're not rich) to buy it there

Game is same everywhere - Patreon,Steam,Itch and so on (there is only 1 SoD game)
P.S. the new update been out everywhere since few hours so I guess you guys just need to wait people to finish wanking

the steam update is already here. playing it now. try shutting steam down and start it up again. that usually does the trick for me
(and quit asking, i won't share a steam copy anywhere)

you don't have any steam friends that can gift it to you. that way you could pay back by giving a game of equal value later, when you can afford it
