As I think I mentioned to you before, there's a dev I know well who is trying to write a story about a MC who feels responsible for looking after his younger sister after their parents die. That dev is incessantly trolled with hysterical demands to convert the sister into a LI. My favourite theme from these trolls is that it's 'cruel' to introduce an attractive sister who cannot be an LI. Jeez.
What's odd is that there are plenty of examples of major cultural touchstones that have incest themes -- from _Oedipus Rex_ to _Game of Thrones_ -- but the standard incest-themed story on this site tends to feature the same dull, dumb porn cliches. An incest-themed game could be done well, but in most of these games it is done abysmally and -- worse -- seems to produce demands that devs introduce the kink in a way that destroys their stories/visions.
