For the last 2 mods, I need to really play the update and I can't right now. I still made a little update of the Extras mod to add the idols (the version number hasn't changed. It's still 14).

Someone needs to do the dev a favor and whip up a mod to cut Steve out of the game completely. It was a mind-bogglingly stupid decision to add him at all, let alone have him start fucking the LI's. If I didn't know better, I'd say the dev intentionally put him in there as a massive "fuck you" to the game's harem fanbase.
Just in time for the winter holidays, it was possible to get the long-awaited moment where the MC and the main lady would finally "happen the expected" ... but something in the developer's head dictated otherwise.
I'm wondering what are these cases related to? Did someone pay, incompetence (in understanding the genre) or just the author's personal fetish preferences?

I didn't play this game, but I read the reviews because the survival aspect sounded interesting. As far as I can tell, the MC is a cuckold who enjoys spying and being punished, but makes no attempt to change anything. At least, that's what the developer wants him to be, I guess. Sharing is fine if all parties agree, but cuckolding is overkill.
Probably a combination of things. Some devs don't bother to pay attention to the fact lewd game fans fall into different categories, so they don't see the problem with throwing in a fetish that ends up being repulsive to their existing audience. On top of that, fans of certain content are vocal about wanting that content added to every game, and don't give a fuck if it's a turnoff to other players. You see that with pregnancy fans spamming any game that doesn't have pregnancy, and the same goes for NTR to a lesser degree.
So the dev didn't realize that a sandbox game with a bunch of girls on a desert island with one dude attracted an immersive harem audience, didn't know that an immersive harem audience would hate unavoidable NTR, and was probably hearing from a vocal minority that adding NTR would be a great idea.

This game is dead for me now, i never seen a dev completely destroy a game so fast like this, straight to ignore list
I don't know if it's cluelessness on the devs' part in cases like this, or an actual troll. But as one such immersive player, I'm done with this game. People that say to skip the scene or whatever don't get it. They see the game as porn, and any sex is good to them. But I can't ignore this any more than I could close the bedroom door and walk away if I see my girlfriend cheating on me. That is, unless it's to just grab my stuff and leave.
I was actually debating just a few days ago if I should drop the $40 to support the game and get early access because I was horny, have some disposable income, and thought this might be the update where we got Rachel. To me, that scene would have been worth the $40. Thank God I didn't make that mistake. I almost wish I had supported the game earlier so that I could give the dev a piece of my mind on Patreon, but that would have been wasted money at this point. My current valuation of the game is $0. Had I been a supporter, I'd desperately want any money I spent on it back.

This is hilarious. Was needed, bitch you wrote it that way... there are multiple ways to write something with the same outcome. The mental gymnastics some devs do to justify their dumb writing/kinks is hilarious.
It's nowhere on the same level, but the vibe is kind of the same. It's something that you can't just gloss over if you're an immersive player, even if the scale is very different. Whether you choose to pay attention to it or not, it happened and you know it happened. If the dev had suddenly killed Rachel in this update, I'd be upset too. Not as much as if a real person died. But in both the NTR stuff and the death stuff, it's a case where I've put time into that character, gotten to know them, and then out of nowhere something happens to change everything that can't be undone or ignored that recreates on a smaller level what we might feel for a real person and situation. That's how "art" (even games like this) work. We're meant to feel for these characters. If we don't, the dev isn't doing their job. Which makes sudden changes like this all the more puzzling and infuriating.

OK, so on the original v0.12 release date of November 30, the dev said "I will need to push the release date back just a couple of days" and the actual release was 21 days later on December 21, so a "couple" means 21 to the dev.
If Steve "was needed to tell the next step of the story (next couple of versions)", we can infer the MC will get bullied and cucked by Steve until v0.33.
Exactly. It's not like the dev suddenly realized he couldn't progress the story without another dude showing up and fucking the girls, as if he wrote himself into a corner where the only escape was the MC getting cucked.
