Okay i just played through the last update to see what all the fuss is about and i gotta say, its not that bad.
Sure you have to see rachel having sex with another guy but that guy is her actual boyfriend.. it would be rather strange if nothing would be going on between them after they see each other again.
Just because you would prefer her boyfriend to be out of the picture doesnt make this development any bad.
I see it as an actually good thing that there are some twists and turns getting implemented in the story.
Maybe he should have made the sex scene between them optional to watch but thats all there is to really critisice, and even about that there are no rules that he has to do it that way.

"It's just temporary, steve will be out of the game shortly, but was needed to tell the next step of the story (next couple of versions)"
Still think it was a piss poor decision.

Dev is backpedaling now.
Reality of said actions and loss of $-support is sinking in.

I wouldn't be surprise that the dev plan to get rid of Steve is for it being exposed that he has been fucking Emily. Absolutely terrible idea but this dev is not so smart so very plausible. Anyways i for one will be very happy when i see this game crash and burn and get the abandoned tag, do shitty things then expect shitty results.

Maybe a accident he falls down and dies? he gets caught by the tribe and killed? (Well that would ruin the story line with them). He goes insane and tries to kill the MC?? oh noo. But i may disagree with the update but i wouldnt put the game on the ignore list i feel like that is just petty. I may disagree the route we are going but fundamental the game is great. I have a small faint of an idea why the developer went this route but i personally wouldnt cut the game out since i know its temporarily.

Never expressed a like or dislike- it is just another feature in my view. I did want to get an understanding of the intensity of the reaction, which I did not understand. I now see three reasons:

• I don't use the MC as a proxy for self
• I am not naïve enough to have missed indications in earlier flashback scenes that this was an eventuality
• You've experienced your own NTR of sorts by allowing yourselves to have been 'cucked' by the dev

He's talking about the fact that MC caught Steve fucking that waitress (and was that scene a huge waste of developers and our time) before all of them went on a boat trip and never said a word about it to Rachel. Or anyone else. It was something MC should have shared with Rachel a long, long time ago... quite possibly even before the boat trip.

Getting Steve on the island wasn't the problem... making him the focus of the update and forcing players to go through those two sex scenes involving him is. Both of those scenes were completely unneeded and unnecessary for any story development and there was no need for dev to waste time creating them. When you combine that with all the grind and almost completely useless task system hints you have a game that may not be salvageable created by a developer that lost any trust players have in him.

Rachel has some weird sense of faithfulness, she gives ass & head but she will not let do the real thing & Just telling her that Steve is cheating on her without any evidence just outright calls for disaster.

If You had checked out this title thoroughly.
MC 'could have' told & brought Rachael from outside, into the restroom to see Steve was fucking the waitress.
Dev chose not to write that in.

Instead, had MC make that thought and choice come to late.
Then had him pussy out in both cases confronting Steve.
Try investigating it Yourself so You can see.
