On one of Camila's PM's, I pressed the little H on her profile picture at the end of the PM, and got an error as well. Didn't take note of the exact day or copy the error, though I think it was day 10.

So on Day 3 Haylee gets online only after you talk with Ariel. There's some delay to this because I like bugs... situations can arise where the game thinks she should be online when really she shouldn't be.

What's weird in this case is that it's supposed to resolve itself the next day. When you log off each day I "reset" everyone. The only thing I can think of is that you have an old version of the game. Is that possible?

I'll look into this and see if I can figure it out.

Ah gotcha, I just went back to this thread to see if I'd overlooked a kinetic novel tag after sitting through three in-game days without any interaction beyond clicking through chats. I guess it's one of those borderline cases where it's not quite kinetic so maybe doesn't warrant the tag, but close enough that players who prefer more interactivity may be disappointed. Oh well, you can't please everyone.

I think I've hit that sweet spot of not appealing fully to either base (kinetic vs open world) - so if there was some kind of award...

I searched the thread and didn't see anything about it, so I'm curious why my MC's name is null now. Wildman, I've attached my persistent file — from v1.0 — if that helps. Hopefully none of my past major choices were forgotten. I've fixed it myself manually via the console, but as you can see below, it definitely wasn't recognized by this latest version of the game. Was I supposed to start over again? I didn't see that anywhere in the thread.

I had the same thing, there's an option on the main menu (accessible from the game through right-click) to change your character name though, so I figure WildMan changed something and was already aware of it, so included the fix there.

None of your choices should be forgotten, I don't think anyone else has reported that, so here's hoping.

At some point I'll make a function to check all data is what it should be at the start of each update to avoid these weird hiccups in the future.

Just finished day 11 and the one thing that annoys me that I can't choose not to have sex with someone. Since there is potentially a number of fuck buddies, not having sex with Tiffany seems more like punishment to her than to the MC. And just seems like Camilla (didn't pick the neighbour route) just wants his cock and not bother with him otherwise, then not having sex with her seems fine too. But otherwise enjoyable.

Oh, and several ladies have some duty on the ship, especially Ishana seems extremely occupied. Will the MC get some duty/tasks as well? Perhaps Sanitary Maintenance Specialist aka plumber?

I like the idea, the MC really needs an occupation while they float though space, and it would open a lot of opportunities to get closer to the girls.

There are a couple of ways to bypass this - whenever a laptop session cuts to a talk with Paige, you can save. Additionally, if you complete a girl's laptop conversation in its entirety, you can skip through it (to the choices first, if there are some) by clicking the S button at the top left of her portrait in the PM window the next time you reload/play through it.

Thanks. I figured the one with Paige. The problem is that you as a player won't know which conversation has choices so you are sometimes forced to replay several from the cut scene.

Edit: Actually, when Ishani asks if you would have sex with her if she wants, what are the consequences of the two choices?

It's a different conversation, that's all. The laptop choices are mostly minor/cosmetic/can result in lewd pictures/etc.

Unless you're trying to unlock all the pictures in the photo album, I'd recommend selecting which one appeals to you the most as a player.

I personally always make it a point to save after the MC wakes first thing in the morning, just before the laptop conversations begin. Like Wildman says, you can skip the majority of conversations if you click the letter. So run through the conversations, see what you like best for your choices. Then, reload just before the laptop and make the choices you prefer — and "undo" wrong answers . . . the girls can get tricky sometimes.
