I agree that the pacing was a little hasty for the whole tournament part, but considering this is the first release for them and also had changes of devs during its development even, I'm pretty happy with what we got.

I just want to say I’m really thankful you’re keeping the game alive. I really enjoyed the work from the original developer, but life happens, and I’m glad the project didn’t just stop there.


I can see the differences — the pacing feels faster, some parts don’t totally make sense (like the way the protagonist loses that duel), and the fights and a few scenes feel a bit lower in quality. The style of the game has clearly shifted too. But honestly, it’s tough to keep doing things exactly like the original creator did — everyone has their own way of making things.


So even with my small criticisms, I want to encourage you: don’t get discouraged. There’s definitely room to improve, but that also means there’s room to grow as a creator. The graphics are looking great, and that’s already a big win. If you keep going in your own style while keeping the soul of the story and characters, I’m sure you’ll succeed. I’m really rooting for you — good luck!

The original developer may be gone, and while this new version doesn’t quite reach the heights of the original, you can definitely see the talent in the team’s latest update. It’s still a bit raw and rough and there’s room for improvement, but given the circumstances I don’t think anyone else could have done a better job. I just want to reiterate that I never expected the new update to be even close to perfect. It wasn't and that is absolutely okay. New developers deserve time to find their stride just like any other game developers do. I think it is fantastic that a new developer cares enough about the story to keep it going. That being said, the art was just fine. We all knew the style was going to change and that change was expected. The only constructive criticism that I can give is to work on the pacing of the story a bit (slow it down), and try to be as consistant as possible with the fighting and intimate scenes. I realize that it is not easy and it probably wont be exact but I feel like working on those thigs will give the most ROI for the time spent working on the game. I am not trying to dog pile on, I just want the new developers to be successful with this project.

I have many comments but I will leave these here. First off the animations for the final scene does not play for me. Either of the girls riding, just the audio plays and nothing else. I do not have the animations for the later half of the story.

Second off, the model for Illya breaks the backstory for Centoria. The two have different height, noses, eye colors, freckles, and more. Centoria's whole background was she was chosen as a body double for the princess due to her looks and is to be trained by the ninjas till she has a certain belt level to return as a bodyguard. Now we see the princess and she look nothing like the person she is a body double to and im not even counting hair which can be dyed.

EDIT: Not only do they look the same, Centoria was magically altered (thanks for reminding me Riltom) to look like the princess. And yet they look nothing alike. I get wanting to make the characters look a bit different for variety, but when one characters background is literally dependent on her being a copy changing stuff up is NOT the way to go.

EDIT: It's worse. I went into the files to look, there are 4 animations for the Illya bath scene and 0 of them played. 4/5 of all the lewd animations of this update did not even play lol. Added Riltom's comment in to.

I'm willing to give it a shot, but my confidence in them is insanely low. It might have just been a character card but they already messed up Centoria's backstory and current character kind of hard with the update.

So wait and see... And see how they approach fixing the update or leaving it as is.

Because with reviving someone else's project, stuff that was intented by the original creator goes mostly always go lost somehow and that's why I'm very conserned. I've seen dozens of media go stale and bad after someone else takes over.

My first instinct was harsh, but I'll try to be helpful instead. Check out the animations section. Also, Inceton Games's games tend to be heavy on high quality, lengthy sex scenes with easily skippable stories. I recommend you start with Lust Theory Season 2 (Season 1 is story heavy) before working your way through their library.

Clearly Stray Incubus is more story oriented and thus not really for you.
