I guess i am just not getting how the lines in the config file should look. For example if i want to enable noncon should it look like this ?
#taboos string noncon,incest,racism
taboos string -
#taboos string incest,racism # list of all supported taboos

Could someone please tell me if that's correct if not show me how it should look please.

Well, this enables all the taboos, not just noncon.



If you want enable only noncon, but not the others (incest, racism), it should look like this:
#taboos string noncon,incest,racism
taboos string incest,racism
#taboos string incest,racism # list of all supported taboos


The lines beginning with the # are only comments. Information.
The line without the # is the actual config for the taboos. What you see there, it is disabled. What you don't see, it is enabled.

This is what burned me. Just because you can hire 2 cooks and 2 bartenders doesn't mean you should. Also, I kept expanding my opening hours to the maximum allowed, without paying attention to whether there was demand at those times.

Excellent advice. Do not open the weekday mid-day hours until you can open at lunchtime too and have a cook to serve lunch. And even then I would only do so if it's generating enough revenue.

Go into config, find the line near the top(with no #tag) There are three taboos, delete the one you want included in the game.

Note that is probably best to make the change on the user_config.dat file. Otherwise changes made to the config.dat file will be lost when the game is updated. (Just copy/paste the line from one file to the other).

Yes. It's the basic framework and a group of chars files. Once you start to add the packs for more char, it's 300+ per. Since it's non animated it doesn't really use that much space. And if I have to guess, there's a few devs on here, who adopt the AAA game dev position of "Use everything, optimize nothing"

I actually blown away by how small the Unity executable is. And it's including a bunch of libraries that I don't think I need, but don't know for sure so I've left them in.

Suggestion for the next update. Could you enforce a timely (same/next day) proposal of your sister/brother to the first barkeeper job opening or have them listed in the contacts from day 1? I like to know my relatives before deciding whether I play a scenario or start a new game. It would save hitting time forward for sometimes up to 2 weeks before sis/bro comes up.

You aren't the first to complain about this. I'll look into having them appear on the contact list from the beginning.

I'm not sure why you insist on making the Owner of the Gym a dude in a game like this, I've probably reloaded my save 60 times by now and it refuses to change to a woman, I feel like deciding the makeup up major locations with no story impact should be a player choice, I've gone through the game once already in a previous build but was hoping to at least see the changes on a second playthrough.. can I use an old save and get the full benefit of the update?

Can't seem to get old saves to work, and I can't give this any more time than I have, good game but was really hoping that little annoying element of a dude running the gym as a default would be fixed, see you all next update.

I'll look into adding a setting to force certain initial players to a given gender. However, I'm not insisting on anything, it's random and it should be like 60% female chance. But as someone else pointed out, the gym worker gets created at the very start so you can't change it by reloading the game.

There's a typo in the default archetypes of 0.5a
bro has collge:60 , should be college:60

Yeah, I was overthinking it way too much, conspiracy theory brained for a moment, but I just have trash luck, clearly, I'll just make a new game until it kicks in, I'll give it another try later in the evening!

I just checked this out, and I want to give you a huge thumbs up for an awesome collection of really hot, curvy/thick women. One of the best in any game I've ever played. Looking forward to digging deeper into what's there.

I guess I have confirmed that it was a bug in 0.4h that was letting me fight off mobsters with no consequences, I tried it in the new version and got beaten hard. After playing injured for a while, I reloaded a save and paid them this time. Being injured really sucked, I went from 32 to -21 health, could barely do anything, and the nurse at the hospital could only heal me by one point at a time every few days.

I found a little "bug" I think, after having sex with a virgin she will stay a virgin. Ive tried it now in a couple of different playthroughs and its the same result. No biggie just thought Id give feedback. Love the game !

First sibling is random, could be man or woman. Just try to make a save before he/she send the first message to you, and then do the save-spamming. Keep in mind that appearing is also RNG-based; last time I've made a save just before the day, so sometimes I had only to sleep him/her to appear, sometimes I had to wait 1-2 weeks... On the flip side, it's not defined at the beginning of the game, so you don't have to start a new game again and again.

You had a little bad luck at coin toss, it seems to me you have about 50-50% chance to get a sister or a brother.

Second sibling (half a year later) will be a girl.

Think I had the same thing happening in the previous version.

Certainly never had any consequences to the fights. Figured it just wasn't fully implemented yet.

More precisely in an UI 2 things can be qualified as confort (in my mind I would use the word quality) :
1/ Being able to cancel a complete sequence
2/ Being able to go back on a bad choice

2 examples :
1/ I enter in a sex event and I discover the girl is a virgin. I want to stop the sex event for now and I'll see later (gameplay/immersion)
2/ I want to change an opinion, I select a category and see the options are not the ones I look for. I would return to the choice of the category (you can't as soon as you entered in the category and see the list of items)

Evidently it can be doable only before any data is changed, I don't ask for some sort of rollback.

If you brainstorm on the brother/sister thing could you think on the fact to force sex to be the opposite of the player one when incest is activated and the player is straight.

On a ressembling subject there is also (in my mind) a problem on girls wanting to often (very too often) to fuck me in the ass.
If I play a straight male player and fuck a girl not having the opinion "Anal giving" on high value I am very surprised when she want to fuck my ass, and it's boring when it happens very often


A 3rd subject, perhaps minor: in the new "help" system you indicate for some jobs the type of college degree is the better.

Perhaps having the college degree specialisation in the NPCs detail would be better than just having a yes/no/student flag, for now the only way to have this information is at the start of the interview.

And I'm not sure my computer have enough power to calculate this if we speak later of threesomes or orgy

Would it be possible if there was only one male MC? I can imagine having all of the various versions of the male character adds to it exponentially.

AI, not UI?

It's only the beginning, a lot of players will become mad before finishing the game which is dystopic compared to most of the games we have the habbit to see and where the player is the master and can do what he want when he want

Here behing the appearance of actions player can do thinking to have a big impact, you are really in a big cloud of smoke and the AI is the master (in reality the Rng god is the master) and the player is a puppet.

Surely depending of some attributes or characteristics of the NPCs you encountered (at least we can hope) you have chance something will happen, or not, or something completly different what you hope.

- A NPC can ask for a recruitment in the next few hours, or not...
- The NPC coming can have good stats to be a bartender, or not...

Eventually you can directly hang out with a NPC of your choice and directly propose her to work for you. Anyway she will generally refuse because she already have a job.

You can also wait for the game to change, or you can pray, stop to play or buy a big box of pills and a lot of tissues. Avoid throwing the screen on the wall, it won't appreciate

A game where you battle against the dev, the rng and the grind... it's rare and interesting.

In the beginning, the NPC pool is quite small. A day is nothing, there could be weeks before someone bites. (Or you load your save, sleep, and someone is there - the RNG is strong with this. But still, not very likely in the beginning.) Usually after one week or two your sibling comes through with a friend of her/his.

In the meantime, walk in the city. Most people you find has a job already, and reluctant to let it go, but sometimes you find someone who fall head over hells in love with you in first sight (attraction to you: 100), and they had a bigger chance to jump ship for you. Or maybe you find someone unemployed.
