I certainly wouldn't rule it out in the larger scheme of things, but not in my game. Ines belongs to the MC! I'm keeping Amrit at solid arms length for professional reasons.

Nope. If you played The Author you can pick whoever you ended with there for a kind of continuity but Brent and his crew of women don't affect the plot of Unbroken at all so far and I can't see them affecting anything in the future either.

Damn right, amigo! Sure, there's the surface level "Hey, she's hot". I mean, the game is full of beautiful women, but Ines' physicality is bringing out my deeper, more perverse urges. Like having a family. That the character is also rather endearing, however, helps a great deal. I like all the little details we pick up. I want to see the real Ines shine through, not just the smokescreen she puts up.

And since the game seems to be supporting it, as much as I adore assertive women, she's also triggering my pervert side, where I just want her to see the MC come home and be all "Yes, daddy!"

It's an "fuck around and maybe find out" game, so far. None of the relationships are exclusive yet, by the LIs statements, but that doesn't mean feelings won't blow up. This is not a harem game. No relationships are mutually exclusive at this point.

There's no such thing. In order for it to be a harem they all have to knowingly be in a relationship. Sleeping around isn't a "harem" in any way. Unless you mean a harem genre in anime where there are multiple LI going after the MC. Which would be nearly every game on this site.

also the easiest way to avoid heavy branching for the majority of the game without it actually being a harem. No need for multiple saves if you don't want to, just pick one or two of the girls close to the end.

I can get behind your statement, but don't agree. My feeling is that "harem" games end up with poly relationships, not a chosen LI, as canonical endings.

The hammer hasn't dropped, but it could drop pretty hard. It helps that most of the LIs know about the others, and Els encourages Vi, etc. I can't see Kana being happy about you sleeping around, despite her comments that they should keep it light.

Amrit, on the other hand, seems like she'd want to share with most of the LIs, except maybe Els.

Given Stews comments, I doubt it'll be a hard dropping hammer unless you screw around after committing or with some of the side LIs a main LI hates.



If The Author is any indication, it'll likely be a much softer resolution of picking which LI or throuple (of which there are two possible) to commit to.

Edit: You can actually have committed to Kana already. Doing that and then still fucking around likely will have consequences.

I do also think you might get a "softer landing" if you really only do stuff with the main LIs, and aren't quite as aggressive to have sex as soon as possible but wait until the second or third opportunity when the LI is the one to initiate it.

My memory was slightly spotty. Still, while not quite the same as fully committing, at a minimum saying "when we do revisit, my answer will be yes" and then going on to manwhore sends very mixed signals that probably will have a bigger consequence than just saying you'll revisit. It's worth noting that your response there is tracked by a variable, so definitely could have an impact.

Not yet, but there's tension building, especially when in Spain (I think it was Spain). Vi definitely isn't happy with the arrangement, and Amrit definitely looked miffed.
