A VN imo (though it is understandable if others disagree, guess it comes down to tastes), with its sex scenes I think benefits more with more tempered animation approach - using animation for very short segment of the sex scene, not just using animation for a huge part of (if not all) the sex scene which I think just diminishes the experience.
Game like GleenX's SandStorm & SnowStorm (2 fantastic games) I think does it really well; most of each sex scene are still rendered images with narration or banter between MC & LI, with really limited part of it animation being used.
So it's sort of a shame that the dev decided to go for the "more is better" approach for animation with these sex scenes.

Both Viridianna & Kana also do say that to him a pretty decent number of times (only ones who didn't are Serena & Ines, given Serena seems to be more of a fling relationship, and Ines, well, despite the update speed-running her path, is still not quite there, yet I suppose
So, yeah, Els did say it a lot, but that line seems to be an ongoing pattern in this part 7 update heh.
With Els path, well I think the whole "obsessed with MC" actually already started in Part 6.
Remember that scene at Mallorca in the next morning after MC & Els had sex?
When they're by themselves, she asks for a "Morning Kiss" (which MC does, given it's Els path lol), & even gives him another kiss in front of V, Amrit & McNab - literally staking her claim saying "This man will be mine."
So I didn't feel as awkward about her behavior in part 7 felt like an extension of what we got in part 6 already.
Not to mention it didn't feel as bad as Kana's case with that LI's first sex scene (I think was part 5? Or was it 6? Don't remember lol) which felt like a literal flip of a switch to sex mode lmao

Well, that was hinted earlier, in the 5th update if i recall. Though, I'd do it right after Valentine put one of the belts on his waist, if I were doing it. Going against the toughest matchup he ever had would've been much more climactic right after he became the champion.

We are in total agreement. I knew Els was the go to LI in this game from the moment I saw her, and even though I still expect her to be involved with, probably giving the order personally, Zaina's death. I think that would be the last straw of Valentine's demise. I already have so many scripts on how this AVN can end, and most of them end with Valentine's death.I had to start over from scratch, again, I only played Elspeth's path, but I liked it, I really liked seeing how much Elspeth loves Valentine, she loves him much more than I expected, and seeing how happy she is with him made me happy too.
Good update, I'm happy, I'm not interested in anyone else, and after seeing Elspeth in this update, I won't even consider doing a gameplay focused on another girl, I would feel very guilty.
If you haven't played it yet, leave Elspeth for last, play the other girls' paths first!
The animations are horrible, but I never liked the animations in this game, I only comment on that because it was mentioned above.

The whole scene of her blinking was with this on the screen, even with her blinking working.

Perhaps, but the developer has stated (back near the beginning of the game) that there will be at least 2 throuples.
I thought Ines and Vi as a guaranteed throuple, which could still be but there is no concrete proof in game. Now, on the other hand, i can almost guarantee an Elspeth and Vi throuple given the amount of thirst between them and the game jabbing at us about them.
Not to mention with fighters, there's different factors involved which may extend those months intervals in between matches, such as injuries, all the other fighters already getting matchups (so noone available for the fighter to fight at this moment), and others.
There are those "interesting girls" points, though. The one I can see as a solo route is Kana.
Vi & Ines I could see as a good possibility.
While Amrit has a good relationship with Kana and is her fan, I think they have more of a mentor & student like relationship than a couple.
I remember seeing those points when using KoGa's WT mod in the past, but he now stopped working on the mod so there's no way to check.
