Subverse - promising h-game on kickstarter

I know what they do very well but your average guy wont buy a game where most of the content Is watching your crew getting gangraped by various creatures and they said that the game will be mostly vanilla with optional alien content

The thing is: the averege guy wont buy an adult game. This is a niche market. And inside this niche there are other niches like the bestiality, furry, etc. And that where they have experience and focus on. Also, it's what made them famous and rich. Ok, not rich, but 1 million USD is an interesting budget.

I think vanilla is better too, but I don't expect this to be the core of the game. But, since the Main Character is human like, I expect to be at least part of their content.

Their roadmap for 2020 does not mention a release date, only that november/december we will get some marketing going with videos that showcase the characters and gameplay.
Taking in consideration that "commom minimum" time for marketing is 3 months, best case scenario we have the game in March, but being real here I think sometime around June/July would be more like it.

The new Dev Diary says Oct 14 2020 for the artbook, that is a good thing BUT "Devotion quests" being post-launch and things that seems like fearture creep (gifts/banter) makes me believe that the road ahead is long...
Oh Well, the game industry as a whole took a few punches from COVID I don't see why in this case it would be any different.

Yeah Mod support is always great BUT they already confirmed that there will be none at launch...
Not that makes it impossible, where there's a will, there's a way.

Now, about the "more than just a fetch monster ntr", the promised is "101 with Cpt. (you)", "101 with monster/gangbang monster" and "waifu-0-waifu, lesbian/futa" and all that is by choice, you pick whichever one you want.

Well, in the end that is all promises, maybe it's all there on launch day, maybe it isn't, who knows.

Yeah, the "no demo" part is a bummer, there is a Beta but only a certain group of people has access to it (people who paid a certain ammount on kickstarter), just keep in mind that the beta does not contain NSFW contend, it is focused on the battle part. There is a bunch of videos about it on youtube already, search for "Subverse Beta" and you shall find it.

Yeah, the faster part its only natural, they will have a bunch of tools/framework already done, they will already know what not to do etc etc... Sure hope they get into a rhythm where they can delive games in at least less than 2 years, one new game every year would be great but those things take time.

That is true, I find that porn games need to have a fine balance between gameplay and porn to be legit fun playing.
That balance can be achieved with a fairly short/small scope game.

Now, Subverse is a medium/big scope game, what I am most curious to see is how the market reacts to it,
what if some big corporation tries to make a true "AAA" porn game? Not that I'm looking forward to pay EA 5 bucks for a different nipple color but it would be interesting to see.

funny thing is steam is now okay with hardcore fetishes now, they have eased up a lot of their restrictions
patreon now will ban if your game has beasty/furry and if they get enough reports about it

Not that I could find, no.
There is a total of 4489 people with access to the closed beta, I believe it is not lack of will to share but lack of content, mostly lack of NSFW content.
Right now, from what I've seen there is only the following:
Space SHMUPS
- 2 bosses (faction leaders) and 1 wifu (the squid girl);
- 3/4 "commom" levels where there is a fine ammount of enemies, each level with a specific faction focus;
- Endeless mode.

Grid Combat
- 2/3 "commom" levels wih a fine ammount of enemies and one with a mini-boss;
- You can pick between 2 wifus Lily (ranged dmg/support) and Killi (melee dmg/juggernaut) and 3 mantics (your commom soldiers).

That is all in the beta right now, from what I've seen you'd play it for maybe four hours max and stop...
Another thing that makes sharing the Closed Beta a pain is the update schedue, like any other game still in development you get a new build every 2~4 weeks and you have to upload the game again and again...

All that being said still I would appreciate if someone uploaded it.

They only are "arguably the Marvel studio of lewd sfm movies" because of lack of competitors on their level, per se.
I'm not saying they are bad but they are the only studio I know with resources for doing everything,
small loops, full length animation with voice action, post-fx, sometimes even a whole story series.
Now, take Drills3D (collection link), give this creator enough resources and you got another Marvel Studio of lewd.

And it got modded with the moderator literally saying I can't post anything negative until the game is released. What kind of fucking bullshit is that?

You are not the first to point out the broken promise made by the devs nor will be the last.
Ever since the beta was no longer acessuble to ALL who backed the project some people have been sending messages to studio fow on their discord and steam, the response of the modders?
Kick or ban the people who say bad things about it from discussions and discord.
There were even some people who asked their banks for a charge back it happened on the kickstarter comments way back.
