Ever since the beta was no longer acessuble to ALL who backed the project

Wasn't the beta supposed to be exclusive to £75 backers and above? Also, the stuff with the early access was disappointing but they were pretty open as to why they made the decision of changing that.

It's been more than a year since they announced this change and I don't know why people are still clinging to that as a sign that they are breaking their kickstarter promises when they have been able to deliver everything else that was promised (calendars, beta, hentais and now the art book).

You are not the first to point out the broken promise made by the devs nor will be the last.
Ever since the beta was no longer acessuble to ALL who backed the project some people have been sending messages to studio fow on their discord and steam, the response of the modders?
Kick or ban the people who say bad things about it from discussions and discord.
There were even some people who asked their banks for a charge back it happened on the kickstarter comments way back.

Thanks for sharing this. Hoping this game doesn't disappoint. I definitely have some concerns with it, but hoping this will be alleviated. Really hoping somebody cracks this game so we can get the Studio 69 DLC - I would have backed to that tier but I was too late when I heard of the game and missed the kickstarter.

Yeah, the faster part its only natural, they will have a bunch of tools/framework already done, they will already know what not to do etc etc... Sure hope they get into a rhythm where they can delive games in at least less than 2 years, one new game every year would be great but those things take time.

That is true, I find that porn games need to have a fine balance between gameplay and porn to be legit fun playing.
That balance can be achieved with a fairly short/small scope game.

Now, Subverse is a medium/big scope game, what I am most curious to see is how the market reacts to it,
what if some big corporation tries to make a true "AAA" porn game? Not that I'm looking forward to pay EA 5 bucks for a different nipple color but it would be interesting to see.

As long there are options for quickie (get a sex worker/sexbot) along with long term relationships with your cast that unlocks more sex options. A porn game with long term plans can work. Just don't tease the player too much or make them blow their load too quickly.

DLC wise, Mainly fetish wear for cosmetics and additional lewd sidestories for supplemental packs from your character discovering he is into other men (pansexuality is a big thing with western porn games and going gay is a starter)

I'm just hopeful with the DLC that there is a good chunk of additional outfits / lingerie we can use for the girls and potentially more story if the narrative is well-received.

Hopefully the ingame currency for sex isn't too hard to max out like a stiffy. Was hoping for something like "You can blow PP on sex or pay the brothel to fuck your alien chick of your choice in all different flavors and a taste of whats to come."

Given the nature of patreon games I am not surprised they made that call. Too many games become over ambitious and hit the ground running
