Oh the game will be uploaded and shared here, don't doubt it for a second but wether it stays that way or not depends on how FOW reacts.

I expect a real shit show when the game releases from people not familiar with FOW work.
Some may consider that funny but it's probably not good for what could have been a healthy boost to the adult gaming scene.
Best solution is to recommend Being a Dik and Summertime Saga as palate cleansers, the latter may have gone downhill but still a lot of good content for new players.

So, without reading through this entire thread, why is there so much negativity surrounding this game? I literally have not paid attention to it since that trailer a couple of days ago.

The TL;DR goes something like this:
1 - "Optional cuck/ntr content" is not optional, stuff will happen and you can chose to watch it or not;
2 - Shmup and grid combat gameplay seems bland;
3 - They changed release strategy from chapters, to full game only and now again to chapters. Put that and other **stuff** together and it seems the project was poorly managed;
4 - FOW mods simply censor any and all negative talk about the game or questions that could lead to negative answers.
**the other stuff**
1 - Coincidence or not, after the script increase and new features such as gift system were added/announced they decided to deliver the game yet again by chapters, giving the impression that the money is running low.
2 - They announced at first the game would be release with 3/10 chapters and now is something on the lines of 6/20 chapters (I might be wrong on the numbers). Thing is, It is obvious that they did not simply double the ammount of content ready to release, they just inflated the numbers to make it seem bigger... never a good sign in my opinion....

Thats a big no for me, i was kinda hyped by this game, but having no option is a big disappointment for me :/

Well to be honest, considering that you needed to pay 175 pounds to get the full game (DLC included) you can be sure that even backers like me, who paid 20 pounds will still play the pirated version of the game.

The retail price is still to be announced.
The 175 pounds is the campaign price with all "premium dlc", you could get the base game by paying 20 pounds.
The premium DLC are exclusive to the kickstarter campaign (or so it is said) and includes one pet (just a tiny alien that faps all day) and the Studio 69.
Studio 69 seems to be a location the player can visit but as of now it is unclear what you get for it since there is already a gallery function I don't really see what could be done there... Maybe some poledance animations? I don't know...
I don't mind me a good monster fuck ahegao mind break, as long as they don't play it up as "being cucked" for the sake of alienating a whole lot of people. If it's more like "watch your waifu get broken by some alien monster for fun", rather than "ooo wee I'm so weak I have to watch because I can't do anything".

As explained in the previous post, you could have the whole game on kickstarter for 20 pounds. However a kickstarter exclusive DLC was also available for 175 pounds, and I think that if the DLC version is leaked on F95, then I'm pretty sure that even 20 pounds backer will play the pirated game.
About content and Studio Fow, I'm pretty sure they will add more "vanilla" content than usual since this game reached a larger audience. But yeah most of it will still be extreme.

They could also be going the "Sad Pathetic loser gets a harem of girls" route, like all those shitty Anime. To me it seems there is very little information regarding the content of game that everything here is basically conjecture and guessing, so I suppose we'll have to see what it ends up being like. On one side I'd expect them to have enough business sense to realize that NTR is a pretty niche fetish and they should tone it back if they want more financial success.

having watched one of there recent Q&A's it looks more like it was a change to appeal to a wider audience. and easy of getting the game approved on a wider set of online stores. As for the back story for the captain it is still unknown there keeping a VERY VERY tight lid on anything that could even hint at the story or lore of Subverse. So unfortunately were gonna have to wait till the game actually becomes purchasable to find out how the story is going to go

I just hope it is successful enough and doesn´t blow up the studio. That would be a shame for their videos and very bad sign for any future project on a bigger scale.
