Yes, I already showed this, but one of the mods here had a brain error for a second and deleted my post judging it "off-topic". So once again, this is what Studio FOW said about their game on one of Kickstarter's updates.

If they would name it "best adult gaming experience" I would just consider it silly advertisement, but "first premium, true adult gaming experience"? Seriously?

For western porn games there is what?
  • Wild Life, which isn't an actual game yet.
  • VNs like the DAZ 3D abominations that make up most of the titles here.
  • Things like Summertime Saga or Something Unlimited, which are really closer to VNs with some minigames attached.
  • RPG maker games like Legend of Queen Opala, or Roundscape.
Where are the actual games with full VA, cutscenes, and actual gameplay besides minigames?

Sorry, I use google translate.

Gentlemen, are you aware of the content included in Studio 69? Is there a lot of it? I bought the game on Steam, and then found out that it was exclusive for people who paid from 175 pounds while the kickstarter was dripping. And for ordinary people studio 69 will not be available = (

you're extremely optimistic if you think this game will ever get 1.0
So far, they have delivered a more complete product than the vast majority of say, Patreon creators. At least this got some actual gameplay and animation, it's clearly an alpha, not a tech demo or virtual idea board as so many other people post here. Ultimately, it's 10 bucks, I think I've financially recovered over these years or however long it took. Eventually it will just pop up on my steam and I'll go "neat" or it won't and I'll forget it.

Studio 69 isn't out yet, so no one knows what the content will really be.

That's why my comment under this update was "We can argue about "first premium western game", but world's first? Do you really believe that?
And then ofc I was attacked by few and the same fanboys and I had to shut their mouths with MGQ, Kamidori, Sengoku Rance and, when it comes to 3D, Illusion games (even if they are mostly sims you can't argue they are not "premium experience").

(before I start two point : 1 english is not my first language sorry if I make misstakes, 2 I wont answer stupid reply thx for your understanding.)

developing game is hard, long, and require money, a whole lot of it. expetially if you try to make it look cool, have real level designer and writer.

I have a problem with the discutions here. most of you are saying that there have praticly no content... I will try to not insult you. you are talking about things you dont understand. for a game that had only 1 year and a half of developement and a litlle gang of devs, this game has a whole lot of content. remember they needed to create everythings from scratch.
second, they engaged a REAL writer. and you can feel it. the story is not that transcendent, but it's still good and well writen. you can see where it goes but not to much, the voice acting is good to very good, each character is well developt ect...
in term of level desing, its well thought. Specialy durring space battle, where I was feeling the same tension as I felt in Terraria, and it's a fucking hell of a compliment. This is not the garbage we have most of the time in H-game (and even in non-Hgame) and you clearly can find that they have long thought about it.

edit:
I think I need to add : the game still have some default (the animation are a bit clunky for exemple). I won't say its is perfect bct it's simply not.
edit2:
why the fuck my part around the fact I hate but can still understand kickstarter and parteon was remouved ? it is totaly in-topic since everyone talk about their relase on steam and how they got 2M on kickstarter ?

As much as I like things like Rance, MGQ, and Evenicle, I wouldn't call any of them "premium" by any measure. By comparison to any other actual game out there they are incredibly low budget/effort. Things like Evenicle, Rance, Kamidori, are the same kind of things you see out of RPG maker games like LoQO, or Roundscape, just with better art/sprites because the Japanese have perfected that.

Things like Honey Select are premium titles, but Honey select isn't a game. HS is a character builder/poser/simulator. there is no actual gameplay there. There is no plot, no real characters.

It is not even western first, as lulu the sexy empire was first "premium" porn game with own budged, distributor and it was distributed on hard copy. So they do not even made homework.

Then for you "premium porn game" was probably never released, because I can't imagine a scenario where you consider Subverse a premium experience and none of the above games.

I held high regards in this game, unfortunately it flops down on my taste, i didn't know that the game wouldn't have that excitement on a top-down isometric turn-based game like the ones i've played before, the mix of shoot em up is a good idea but in order to implement a mix and mash of these things, you gotta know where to place them. The Shmup is ok, but its going to be repetitive at the end of the line, and their way of showing "Pandora" as their treasure trove of the porn scenes and without having an in depth development of certain scenes in the game that wouldn't be accounted for in the gallery, i doubt there will be any good reason certain people would play it if they were into the scenes rather than the whole game itself to review it themselves.

Its not that its so bad or bad at all, just expected a bit much from Studio Fow, and i feel like they've limited their creativity over this because of certain restrictions for a reason, i'm just second guessing but i doubt this is their best, hopefully its just a taste test, its bitter at first, hopefully it goes down smooth with an after taste.

Gameplay Wise, the top-down isometric fights are ok, but not something that i would buy as a 30~40 dollar price tag game, i mean there's already people giving away the scenes and streaming it, posting it on PH and XV so people can easily fap on the scenes without even trying to read on or play on.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the lewd scenes are good, but this is studio fow, so the quality is as is and true to their production of quality porn but this isn't something you would expect from a million dollar funded project on kickstarter, i would literally expect more not because of the funds but i know they make great ones out there.

Show me which of those games have the same level of things like cutscenes, VA work, and gameplay, that Subverse does?

Subverse's gameplay is like a cheap indie game, but that still puts it more technically complex above something like Rance or Evenicle. And it actually has a plot, characters, and gameplay, unlike something like Honey Select. The cutscenes in Subverse alone are more closer to something from a premium game then anything in those games are.

Its also has fully 3d molded and animated sex scenes unlike Rance or Evenicle, and unlike the DAZ 3D abominations on here it's significantly better made.

Lula the sexy empire wasn't a porn game. It was a business management sim with lite nudity. Lula is about as much of a porn game as Lust from Beyond is. Hell, Lust from Beyond has more nudity and sex in it and it isn't even a porn game either.

You are one of the few people here who are actually contributing to a serious discussion, so I'll put in my 2 cents.

The problem with Subverse is that good animations don't make a good game. I think that the most honest decision from the Studio FOW's part would be to do a fundraiser for a full length H-movie, or series. I'd pay for that, I'm dead serious. Instead we got a kitbashed B-grade game (I've decided to download it and try, it really is).
I think this is the problem most of the people have with Subverse. Not that there are "better free animations" elsewhere, but that Studio FOW didn't make use of their strong points and instead decided to use their "brand" to do something out of their ballpark.

We already have a custom alt shot when selecting a waifu, but for now it feels a bit lacking since we only have 2 waifus so 2 choice only.
Its not the same. Its random moment of you thinking "should i pick up this box because it can give me a bfg against boss or maybe i sholdnt because it can give me a machinegun with 0 damage" and forsing player to adapt every time.
