So, how much do you think the running costs of a game studio is these day? Cost of wages for a team of 12. Cost of full VA for their game, and whatever else. How far do you 2 mill bring you in game dev these days?
Sounds as if you're say it's expensive?, I would think it would cost a fair bit to run a studio of that size. I wonder then what will we get for that 2 mill. Howmany more chapters are left? I read somewhere that it's 22? This release gave us 2.

As for "how far will 2 mill bring me these days?" I'm hoping it's going to bring 22 chapters lol.

While I do love Treasure of Nadia, and NLT in general, I will say it is a bit dreary to have to listen to the same set of moans played across multiple women. You'd think with the money they pull in monthly, they could afford some VA's.
agreed with the moans with Treasure of Nadia.

You got 6 actually. These were stated to be shorter as they cover the tutorials. Later chapters will be significantly longer. The devotion quests are also reportedly a chapter long on their own.

Dude is there a way to tell when chapters change in-game? That might be something the devs might consider adding so you know approximately how far along the story you are.

When People will realize that it's not 2 millions anymore but more something like 10 millions with the early access sales.

I woudn't go so far, but still it is saddening. This only will prove that you can make shit and pople will gobble it up anyway you just need a nice wrapper. Just wait for flood of next "premium" adult experiences.

Come on StudioFOW has had never any Game experience there will be much better Adult Games coming, they got resources now the way they invest them will set their future and how their Products going to improve.
So you shouldn't really rate them by their First Project to get started that much, more what they do with those resources now and what happens in the next 3 years that's the thing you should look out for.

Do I want Subverse to succeed? Yes. Not just cuz I'm a longtime supporter, but because I want to see the bar raised for adult games, much in the same way the SFM animation scene was raised by Lara in Trouble and Kunoichi.

There are so many posts on here just deriding the game for not being enough when they've only given us not even like 10% of the game. The later chapters will be longer, the devotion quests will be even more. And there's about 500+ more backer planets to add to the game. They're taking feedback about Pandora and already showing some possibilities of what's to come with the VR tease.

I get that people have been massively massively disappointed with games not living up to their hype. Anthem, Colonial Marines, Cyberpunk, and the like. I've seen adult games in development here for years, and they're nowhere near as complex as Subverse, yet they barely trudge from 0.1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6 and hang there forever (Hi Milfy City), yet these guys managed to give us a product in 2 years, and could very well be a complete title by its 3rd KS anniversary. Who else could have pulled this off, cuz I don't see any adult developer making anything like this. Not til now.
"I've seen adult games in development here for years, and they're nowhere near as complex as Subverse." Yeah, I'll have to respectfully disagree. Wildlife, Paralogue, Kalyskah and Bioasshazard Arena are a lot better compared to this game (hell, even Silicon Lust might be better tbh). Go check their threads out; they're on f95zone (Wildlife and Paralogue don't have gameplay though, unfortunately...)

It depends of how you estimate the game and I think a lot of people are setting the bar too high.
From my point of view, using this early access build, I still think that this game will still be better than basically 99% of the content we can find in the porngame industry.

Of course Subverse probably has more ressources than every other porngame, but when i'm playing a game, the first thing I'm thinking is not : "how much money was used for this ?" but "do I have fun playing this ?".

About the ridiculous amount of money raised for this game, what I'm thinking is more like "out of those 10+ millions, only 12 euros comes from my pocket" and to be honest I'm pretty happy about those early access sales, because it means that other peoples are willing to put more money into the game, and their money is not mine.

Skyrim+sexmods is still the best existing solution in porn gaming.
There is no best solution in porn gaming since there are multiple audiences in porn gaming.

For example, as a turn-based RPG fan, MGQ is the best porn game ever made, and I wouldn't even try to download skyrim + sex mod if I want to play a porn game.

But I understand that for a lot of people there, RPG porn game are shit.

Now now, we have to be fair and give StudioFow a free pass. After all it's thier first game so we have to be kind and shower them with endless praise. So please no criticism and only positive talk. Tis on only fair!

lmao the reviews on steam are so high. What a bunch of fucking idiots. It's obvious that they're not true porn game connoisseurs like us.
-ridiculous grind-porno ratio
-shitty loops and half-decent animations
-most of the said loops don't have a happy ending/creampie/cumshot (only like 3 scenes have one)
-cringe dialogue
-shite gameplay
You can keep your opinion to yourself, i'm one of those fucking idiots, don't be aggresive, there are rules you know and you could be banned for your attitude and your aggression. I didn't reply to debate with you, just reminding you could keep your voice calm

Yeah we should fuck each other not Kill ;)
Im happy if FOW succeds as more people get Conditioned away from pure Killing to this the better ;)
And if it reaches a Massive Steam Audience that paves the way for much higher acceptance :D

If you want only positive talk you can go on their discord.

We can criticize this game as much as we want as long as it doesn't become an insult.

It's not because it's their first game that I won't point out the flaws in their game.

How they setting bar to high? Dose they gameplay elements stand out somehow? Or they are just inferior copy of existing ideas. Dose they improve game somehow, dose they have connection to player investment? You could litteraly toss any showvlware game from phone apps here and have same result. This "game" is getting free pass only because it is "adult" eye candy and went mainstream thanks to starved steam audience.
