It’ll be subjective of course, but don’t think it’s that overdone.
Edit: evidently enough feedback is having one of the devs speak about it. Says the bloom will be reduced

I don't believe we'll see devotion quests or anything else additional until all girls are introduced. Pandora scenes, a few short cinematics, 1-2 new mantics and some side quests to grind through seem like maximum of what they are able to add within 3-4 months periods. Oh, maybe some small gigs like drink game, but meh, who needs that...

why are we still talking about this? these people made enough money to get enough hired help. this spilt between visuals, story, combat and sex content should not happen. the guys of the main team should be working on the sex scenes non stop. every update should be filled with lots of sex content because it's the main selling point of their entire company. everything else should be done by people who understand video games and were hired by this company.
"we are a small team and making games is new to us" is an excuse I've been hearing since forever. they made over a million dollars only from the kickstarter of this game. I'm ignoring all the money they've made from their other work beforehand. they were releasing insane amount of content (compred to the quality it had) in a rather short time. even if it was a single person working on the game, you telling me you can't keep the sexual updates (main selling point/what the company is known for) at the same update speed that it was if not faster, while still working on the game?
I'm sorry but I don't believe the excuses, it's like the guy working on pure onyx who's milking his fans for 17k a month by releasing once per month a single sex animation + 20 fixes no one gives a shit about. and yes I will keep mentioning that game until Patreon starts removing those scammers from their platform.
at the end of the day as long as people are willing to pay for this BS it's their choice, I can only complained the rest of us are being fucked over and that's about it (the more money Devs get the slower the updates get, isn't that weird? XD) ofc this Subverse game is not the same as Pure onyx, but I still don't believe there isn't a milking going on here. at most the Devs here are saving as much money as they can which I get, they want to expend and not put everything on this one game, but it hurts the entire selling point. with the amount of money they've made I would assume we would be getting full blown sex scenes 20 minutes long every single month + all the patches and new Dialouge content with the pictures they release that takes about 10 minutes to write and render (I'm not joking... go play the game, see how it is built, you basically reuse the same assets that you have for like 5-10 different character reactions and other than the voice work it hardly costs any money or time to keep adding)
so that's it, I've made my peace, let the fan boys keep defending the game. I'm just wondering if by the end of the year this game still would have less sexual content (put together) than a single movie Studio FOW released in the last few years. and that says a lot, because that 1 million dollars they've made alongside everything before that, has grown by quite a large sum since the kickstarter ended. again, I see no logical reason why the gameplay/lore updates should come at the expanse of the sexual content. if you made so much money, how are you releasing 5 minutes of wip sex (loop video) every couple of months?
Subserve is not a scam the same way Star Citizen is not a scam. we argue it's a problem because amount of content + time doesn't make sense when we look at the numbers (money earned) that's all I'm saying.

are we still talking about the wip scens? you know... the 2-3 minute loops of 10 seconds that you call "sex content". also you entire comment is not based on reality which is the above million dollars in their pockets. they aren't 2-3 people sitting in a basement anymore.Not gonna quote all that but...20 minute long sex scenes every month? With whom exactly, between the 6/10 available ladies, and the numerous amounts of mantics along with the Captain? That's just unfeasible. And its a game, not a film you're speeding through to get to the fap. If you want a movie, go watch their films? They'll be back to making them eventually. But it seems weird to critique a game for being a game, and not a film. This ain't a Hideo Kojima production
Also just noting the last bit about the combined sexual content: The devotion missions will cap off with a lengthier cinematic animation (that thing you're pining for so badly) roughly about 3-4 minutes. Times 10 for each lady, and that's about 30-40 minutes right there. And then add all the Pandora animations on top of that. So...if math is right that'll likely be their longest work ever when you eventually combine it all.

Given we’re about to add the 7th gal this month, and they’ve stuck to their 3-4 month goals for updates, it’ll be at least another year round til we have all the gals. Then the endgame, cuz there has to be enough content to max the last girl out too and get her devotion quest. So that could be another update as well. So just a prediction but could be looking at a late 23/early 24 for a 1.0 release.

After watching progress since it's announcement I finally got around to playing the game. I expected a bunch of fap material blended with some cheap "game" factors but my god was I wrong. This is actually a really entertaining game with some pretty impressive development. I can understand some people being upset with the amount of fap material, but at the same time that's not what this product is, it's a full on video game, not a porn film, the story is actually interesting, the characters are awesome, the entire adult content being part of the plot, designs, etc is well thought out. I'm still blown away by the full voice acting, some great little cameo references. Sure there's a lot of stuff that could be implemented and improved but this is pretty great so far and kudos to the team

The space combat I like, but I would PAY to skip the ground combat, not because I'm lazy or because its hard, but because its not fun at all. Maybe its more fun for people who like old school games, but holy shit the ground combat feels like a colosal waste of time. I HOPE someone MODS a "SKIP combat" button for ground combat or something and I'm surprised thats still not a thing yet, considering its an UE4 game.
