I'm happy to wait, but it'd be nice to have an idea of when to expect to be able to play it.

Considering this is an actual steam game, takes a bit. Assuming even whoever posts it gives a safe link without anything fishy in it.
Much safer and faster to get it on steam.
I'm personally waiting to see whether there's a sudden hotfix or something. Don't want my save to get fucked.

They did hire developers. They made the game bits, and they did the animation bits. But you still have to put those animations in the frame of a game. That's why they held the devotion stuff til last, because those are outside the frame of the game, and are just pure cinematic lovemaking.

Also suggest you watch the 'what's coming in 1.0' video, they address the grind.

From what was said I understand there is fixed camera scenes only. Now you mention devotion stuff. I am not sure I understand what are you talking about.
I know they say they adressed the grind, but didn't see any user comments regarding that issue.

The game came out 1 hour ago and my man is asking for 100% save
Version 1.0 requires a New Save to be started - unless you know someone who can time travel, you gonna have to wait.

Devotion scenes will be cinematic, so no input required there. And obviously can't comment on the grind yet, it only just came out. But in the 'coming in 1.0' video, DC says you can get everything unlocked before you even finish all the gameplay.
