I mean posted the screenshot showing what they claimed they were doing and didn't and they clearly picked up a lot of new people based on the reactions as for where we agree. If they wan't going to follow through with what they said they were going to do, then yeah they should have just focused on catering to their old fanbase simple as. Though I think the rating still would have been bad because once again. They disconnected the porn from the story completely, which is something everyone agreed was a shit move.

If there was an option for someone to request that, I wouldn't care that much. Many games do optional content and it added to the story, while making it optional to that persons play-through. Go play any of the numerous games on this forum, I doubt this is the only game you've played here. My complaint is that you can have context and things added to the story, without making it mandatory via dialogue options and story choices. I mean you have to played examples of this, can you really not think of one? They picked the worst of all worlds by just making everything entirely context-less and pointless is my feedback here. Just make shorts and don't bother with a game at that point.

Honestly speaking, I don't care about any of that except the animations. It's not on the expected level compared to their Actual animations(before this game), but I won't argue about it, I'll just write a review later.

Then it sounds like you would have been happier if they just focused on the animations instead of a game then right? Because that would have been at least better animations instead or at least more of them. My complaint is that the game and the animations don't mix at all, so just focus on the porn then and drop the game if you're not going to do so. That is all.

You can make some optional scenes avoidable, but 239 times over? You’re asking for the moon at that point. I’m sure there’s something we’d all like to have changed about this development, but you have to remember that they were working on a budget, one that wasn’t infinitely increased. There was no backup revenue via Patreon. And despite everything they still managed to finish it all. It may not have come out exactly how you wanted but it did get here. Which is a lot more than I can say for a number of games here I’ve played. And less complex ones at that. There’s 2D stuff on here not done. Hell the most popular thread game on here being milfy city as far I’m aware is still not complete.

Personally find it hard to play any other game nowadays, I’ve been downright spoiled by the full voice acted script. Characters that aren’t just slightly changed Renpy models. A story about rebellion against a controlling government that’s all the more relevant in 2024.

It might not be perfect, but I’m damn happy with what we got.

You are correct, but... not. Why did anyone get hyped that FOW Studios was making a porn game? It's because they had good animations(for that time). What do you expect from a porn game? Quality sex scenes. Imo, if they could just have delivered on that part, even if the game didn't mix or was complete $%^&, it would get a pass. They couldn't deliver in any category, that's why people focus on the "bad game" so much.

Afaik, they only did that to get on Steam because they forbid rape and bestiality. That’s basically the main reason. But they thought they could appeal to wider audience by focusing on vanilla a bit more and detached almost all the sex from the plot in order to try and not offend anyone. You can’t bet on both horses in a race and expect a good payoff, which is why the game is a stinker on the reviews.

I think people still would have complained about the game and porn being disconnected regardless of animation quality tbh. I certainly would have.

Hey guys. I know how to restore ur old save.

So here we go:
Find old and new save folders by paths
Old save folder: C:\Users\*urusername*\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\SaveGames
New save folder: C:\Users\*urusername*\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\1034140\remote
Just copy the file "Subverse Save Game Slot 1.sav" from old to new folder
Then just rename it to "SubverseSaveGameSlot2" (necessarily delete ".sav" also). Better don`t delete or make backup ur new version savefile
Done! Just launch game and get some fun, but be awared, it may bugged some new content
