The torrent doesn't have zip files, it has a setup.exe with a clean GUI, no manual unzipping needed or application of crack. He likely downloaded the multi part zip files that then require a manual crack be applied.

Okay... Ummm Still probably me being stupid then, since I don't know how to use cracked files... But how do I use it? Also, will it show up on the activities page for my Steam?

Just download and install that one - it's version 0.1.3 (latest) of the game and it has an installation GUI that will install the game with the crack already applied for you so you won't need to worry about manually applying it yourself.
And no, when you have a cracked game installed, the DRM is bypassed so it won't put out any calls to Steam at all. You could still manually add the game to your Steam launcher if you wanted to launch it via Steam, but it won't have any linkage to the Steam version of the game. Also, with cracked games, it's always a good idea to block the main game .exe with your Windows firewall, but that's up to you. If you find that complicated, just unplug your network cable while playing cracked games.

Just wanted to say that I am further disappointed in this game, to the point of infamy, we are indeed approaching two years and half mark and still at the debugged first release version YEEEEEEEAH.
If it was to be that way they should have developed it for 4 years before releasing a FINISHED BASE PRODUCT and add additional stories further down the line, shame.
4 years....did I say 4 years ? oups my mistake...at the fucking snail speed this project advance we could expect a full complete SUBVERSE by the end of 2059

Yes. And unike SFM, where their movies gradually got better, with UE4, they'll already be experienced with the engine, courtesy of Subverse.
