"Well you're not allowed to feel that because the game is early access"
womp womp
Fiery post and yet conspicuously absent... articulating why he likes the game, let alone why anyone should like the game, yet still indignantly saying everyone else must reserve judgement as if this wasn't a game and studio handed over two million dollars upfront only to release incomplete and over a year late. :HideThePain:

The dual opinion of "You won't even buy the game" and "it's fine if they pirated honey select models from illusion" is pretty humorous. Usually something that hypocritical goes in different posts at the least.
then don't freaking play it! XDXD it's as if your incessant whining at an EA game will MAGICALLY make it have all the features you DEMAND and make it finish instantly! And you're always spouting the ''HuRr DuRr Mah Two MilLion!!!'' as if the devs didn't DO ANYTHING with that money? lol

OH MY GOD! WHAT'S THIS? THEY ARE STILL ROLLING UPDATES? I THOUGHT THIS GAME IS DEAD AND AN UNREDEEMABLE GARBAGE! HOW DARE THEY SHOW THAT THEY ARE USING THE 2 MILLION TO DEVELOP THE GAME!

They give us monthly reports, you can see them either here: or the game's steam page (which depending on where you live, you might not be able to see.

Forget the Pandora stuff, I'm more concerned with how long it will take for us to get the full game? At the rate they're going this game won't be finished till like 2023/2024 and by then, will this game even have anywhere near the same amount of excitement for it as it did during opening launch?

I would have preferred playing this game all at once even if it was released a year or two from now instead of playing a quarter of the game now then having to wait like a year for the next quarter.

So why didn't you just wait until its done then? How early access games progress is no secret. If people expected content to drop at same rate the average monthly some renpy games toss out, that on them though..

You are welcome to wait, just note that buying the game would cost 30 USD now, and the full game 40. I know that's not saying much considering where we are, but buying in lets you support the devs, and have an actual voice in their respective feedback channels.

Otherwise, critiques are just kinda bouncing off a wall here.

I enjoyed the game, but it felt linear and had a lack of content I didn't expect for the price tag put on this game. Right now it would need at least 10-20 more hours of new non repetitive game play/scenes. If I was judging this game with the price tag included I'd give it a 5/10.

What did you expect from a early access release?

Updates at least once every two months, no?
The common time window for an update in most early access games that are not VN is usually 2 to 4 months for each content update.
So yeah, I would say that is fair to expect a content update within the next few days, just to be clear, I'm not saying that they will deliver, I'm saying that is fair to expect.

Don't get your hopes too high.

I expect something similar (3/4 months between each update), but the first MAJOR update will probably need more time since they had to recruit more people after the release of the AE.

There is no "common" time window. It's different for every f'ing game.

- Baldurs Gate 3 haven't had a content update since it was released over half a year ago.
- Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord, haven't had a real content upgrade in several months.
- Empyrion Galactic Survival, was in early access for several years before it went full release, and still get patched and fixed on regulary.
- 7 Days to die, released in 2013 and still in early access... (and being updated and worked on).
- Surviving the aftermath, still early access on steam, after it was 1 year exclusive to Epic.

I could list up a bunch more early access games I got, but should be enough to give you an idea...

That really the thing, when nothing materializes the far end of the expected window or what actually materializes if it does.

On launch they had 25 rigs for 27 scenes. From what they've said and fact they've given contractwork to outside animators it seems they think their way out of this hole is more porn, almost like it's a porn game or something, so ~50 more chibi animation rigs packaged into a copy paste of the same game loop to be released on... sometime.

Games that have come back from the brink by missing a "ground running" 2-3 month update schedule are the ones that made major mechanic changes in response to backlash. Hell even muh no mans sky. All those things the "fans" think the game doesn't need. A Subverse with radiant sandbox combat as a framework for regular sex scene updates, the main porn scenes unlocked as rewards for using characters in story missions, a basic love bar relationsim to farm scenes from girls you haven't used in combat, etc.

You endeavor to not say anything stupid, to not double down, and then out of the blue you drop a game2 that's recut game1 into something hardly recognizable to everyone's benefit. Not exactly the tact being taken.

If a new build amounts to more sex scenes without context and "progression" via another hour of noninteractive VN cutscenes, the initial impression of the game is the final impression of the game.

Really? Got very much story progression and advancement have we? The game nearing completed in story right? Adding better feedback for saving throws, tooltips, UI changes/interface, Improving an adding on things already there, without move the game forward I don't call content updates. Adding chapters to story and progression would be. It would be like FOW released several updated to Subverse where they had re-arranged the layout of the ship and then call it major updates.

Nothing in what they released so far didn't llike "Owlcat Games" do with "Patfinder Kingmaker" after the full game was released.

Was wondering why a game relatively new had 203 pages already but of course its just you idiots arguing about hentai games of all things.. Maybe give it a rest and type something useful like actual thoughts on the game or information?

(I haven't 100 %, just for the record. So there might be hidden stuff that qualifies here.)

Huh... I have to say: I expected MUCH better of this, being such a massive, multi-million dollar project.
Like: Gameplay and parody wise: It's really solid. Graphics are solid. Basically everything on that side is very good for a random 3D porn studio.

But like, porn wise... they couldn't find ANY budget to give the girls unique models? Just giving them all the same pussy? Despite making a big deal about them all being different species and whatnot? Along with not putting much effort into matching the character personality, despite making a show about how they each have different kinks, preferences and stuff?

I feel they are leaning into that whole "We did it stupid on purpose, ha ha!" excuse to try and justify some lazy decisions. Like, yes. They are "making fun of the genre". But when they put more effort into a random one off, two minute animation of some obscure game than their multi-million project... that doesn't sit quite right with me.
