And that's why literally nobody is happy with the game. People who followed Studio FOW for years are pissed because their niche tastes are watered down because Subverse tries to please vanilla players. Vanilla players are pissed because as much as Studio FOW promises you have full control of which scenes happen and which not it's not true even by examples you provided. And people who never cared and are ok with both vanilla and futa/mantics are pissed because while trying to please the other two groups FOW made the sex scenes completely separated from the game itself.

Oh, we're in complete agreement on these things. I'm just pointing out that these things aren't new suggestions. It was pretty much the universally agreed upon one people on all their feedback platforms (Steam forums, Discord channel, Reddit) kept saying in common. It simply doesn't look like they want to change things that way... yet. I personally don't have my hopes up that the Pandora changes in the upcoming patch will be what we're hoping for, but I'll still... somewhat... remain open to seeing what they'll do with it. I think next patch will make or break it for a lot of well, well, those still adamant about the game.

I think originally the plan was for the adult stuff to only happen in Pandora so people could pretend shit they didn't like never even happened.

But with the way the main story is written, that's impossible.

I also agree that Pandora as is, isn't serving its purpose. I'm just saying that a lot of people are already very critical of the game on an adult content level so seeing these same people ask for direct sexual content integration doesn't make sense to me.

What makes the way the game is currently written impossible for them to do this? I can see plenty of ways they could input these things into the game's current layout. Plus, didn't they practically advertise that the game would have random porn scene encounters while roaming the ship during the initial advertisement phase of the game?

The reality of the matter is that Studio FOW has already invested themselves in the current Pandora system and simply don't want to change it too much from what they want it to be. It could be from laziness, bad budget management, just their own personal wants, or because of that big moderation problem I mentioned a hundred pages ago about feedback being deleted and misrepresented.

Couldn't agree more with this statement. I figure they don't owe me anything, but if they could fix some of the key items that have been common complaints for so many, I'm always happy to reward companies with money.

I think the main issue the next update needs to address above even the whole mantic sex and Pandora being isolated problem are the scenes being 30 second loops. If those tons of new scenes they mentioned being added are still glorified webms, then they haven't learned a thing, and they're just trying to push quantity over quality as a band-aid fix.

Yep, this is also a huge issue, I agree. I actually mentioned some of the items people have talked about in this thread over on the Subverse subreddit recently. I have low hopes of any of it actually being implemented, but it would upgrade the quality of things significantly if the 'scenes' actually felt like scenes and not just brief clips strung together in a haphazard and poorly flowing manner.

Asylum, a bit different approach, it warns you before triggering a scene that it's urination/scat and asks if you want to view it. No? Event doesn't trigger, it never happens and is never mentioned. Simple solutions. And here we have Pandora.

I've only played Asylum, but there even if you skip the scene it still happened.
Even if you skip her scat cene she still gains 1 passion.
If you could skip her using the vibrator she'd still gain vaginal experience.

Again, I was surprised at the consistency from TwistedMagoo earlier. If most people feel that way which I doubt from how negatively the reaction they have from Lily passively mentioning her sexlife then direct erotic integration would require some core design changes. In that case Pandora is actually what these users want, if it did what it said it would do.

My issue is mainly with the forced narrative xeno content with Lily - she is the only one it seems to be shoe-horned into the story with. I don't expect all of the girls to be saints, but I do think the mantic stuff should have been optional. And allow me to clarify as well - I'm perfectly fine with mantic stuff being in the game as I don't expect everyone to want what I want, but I do think the more fringe content should have been optional.

Given that they already have a track record of immature moderation, staff, and managers from back when they only did SFM animations, that still carries over to their community management today, is it really wise only focus on them being "young" new blood? I hope I'm just reading too into it and they're not actually focusing on getting specifically younger people in as managers.

I'll go a step farther, and say that this isn't even possible. Even in a choose your own adventure book, the pages you didn't read still exist. People can attempt to have a head canon different from the narrative, but in the end, it's going to be doomed to failure by the context provided in the rest of the story.

For me, and I stress for ME, I know not for everybody, but I think for some others as well...the scenes in Pandora were so poor, so disjointed and out of context from the narrative, that they barely qualify as erotica at all.

I agree - I thought that was a strange thing to mention regarding the age of the newhires, I just don't see the relevance. Middle aged people can do fine at managing projects and so can older folks. Just hire the best person for the job.

My 2 cents about how sex content should be reworked In-game.

1) Longer animations, even if it means fewer scenes added.

2) Integrate the sex scenes into the story. It works well with Kily's recruitment scene

3) Add some talking to the action during sex scenes

4) Add a preference button to allow people to skip content they dislike, but still show the content anyway to create maximum rage and drama

A change that i'd like, is to still be able to unlock the scene in Pandora but get a very short quest/story where it's introduced to you and seeing how most of them are either related to the MC or the mantics, they wouldn't have to go out of their way to make that change.

I'm gonna stop reading here, since you've missed that nobody has been doing this for the past 5-10 pages. Check the past two pages and you'll see that nobody is arguing for that right now. You jumped into the thread to bitch about the people who have already left these threads pages ago. Right now, people are talking about solutions to help do what StudioFow was trying to do, but better. FOW wants to appeal to EVERYONE, but the way they're implementing the features to make this work comes across as lazy and just badly designed. That is what the current convo is about.

I agree, the people whining "NOOO NTR!!!!" and only that are a problem and their being selfish, but there's nobody currently active in this thread doing that. The same goes for their reddit page, though I haven't checked the Steam forums as of late to know. What I have seen in all their suggestion platforms is people on both sides of the isles, Monster/Rape/NTR fans and Vanilla fans universally agreeing and suggestion the same singular solution; just implement a damn setting to turn on or off that content. This makes it so both the Vanilla and Non-Vanilla content can finally move away from being forced into disjointed and lackluster Pandora scenes. The only people who seem to be against this universally agreed upon solution are the actual fanboys that keep making it seem like the majority of people who haven't forgotten about the game are being entitled brats. Most of the people who come into this thread or even the other websites to whine about any form of NTR usually leave after 2 days and completely forget about the game, never to be seen making more comments on the subject again. They're literally normies that are so alien to these fetishes that they can't help but cry over it. I'm a monster/rape/NTR fan and I haven't asked for the game to be tailored to me. I've also seen plenty of vanilla only fans who have been reasonable with their suggestions to appeal to both parties as well. The only thing the Pandora system is tied to right now is the PP points you get from completing quests. It's completely isolated outside of that. It literally isn't that integrated into the game, so I don't know why people keep making it out to sound like it is. You could remove it right now and find different places to put the already made scenes, and no other systems in the game will break.

And again, we've already established that we know they have no plans on removing it. If you had paid attention, I even said this in the page before this one. What we're merely suggesting are ways to improve it and how we hope that they're going in the right direction in the upcoming patches.

This is something we and many others around their other feedback sites (Discord, Reddit, Steam) have suggested also. What we're all hoping is that the next patch with the 50 or so scenes they talked about adding will at least show that their attempting to do something like this. Even if it's unfinished, we just want to see if they've actually taken this kind of feedback into account. If the next patch is just 50 more 30 second long scenes, then they clearly haven't listened to anyone, or they simply don't care.
