If you're gonna create the porn in the game like the way you did your movies, then you should've made this a film too. Why cut on the game to see the porn if we all have the same locked camera view? Just hop on R34 and someone will post the H-Scene you were gonna look at, since there's little to none interactivity with the scene whatsoever aside from the bland gallery mode.

hmmm yeah. i'm surprised Pandora scenes arent pre-rendered mp4 footage like their flash games. i dont hate the locked camera aesthetically but i understand where you're coming from. Could careless if free cam looks off. At least having that as an option will offer some unique viewing experience aside from one angle. This might be one those porn games you play once in your life and never pick up again if it comes to that. why play when all the none interactive scenes are on Pornhub or something lmao

Well it mentions it being the first act of Subverse, so more or less what you saw in the first build, up to getting the treasure. Minus cinematics and fully voiced dialogue.

So yeah...woulda been a nice proof of concept to what could've been.

Side note: Man you leave the forum for a couple days, and somebody already whipped up a theory on what the cinematic milestone meant? Game with porn, not a porn game. Said it before, say it again.

The game was advertised as a porn game and still is. Subverse emphasizing the porn updates and their waifus isn't because they know people care about the story or battle portions. I know you like taking everything Subverse says as fact, but just because they say "we wanted a game with porn, not a porn game" as damage control, doesn't change what their entire funding campaign was.

Edit: None of these goals were gameplay related. The tweets and teasers they post on twitter aren't talking about the game, but the porn and it's girls.

I'm curious about the 300k goal, when they talk about interactive sex sequences do they mean a simple slider? And what are vignetes to begin with? This sounds like a preliminary idea of the pandora system but they clearly promise a ton of scenes before this goal.

Based on it being 1-2 minutes long, It have to be some kind of lewd animation. Only time will tell what they do with that promise.

There are a handful of things they described we would be able to encounter in the game during the initial funding process, things that we will obviously never see under the current Pandora system. I wouldn't be surprised if that 300k goal will be reworked into something else or scrapped entirely. Some of the old promises or 'teaser' descriptions of what we could see in the game were:

This was one of the most talked about scenes during the funding phase. It was highly anticipated for some people too. It was just swept under the rogue and now Fow pretends this was never on the steam page.

The original steam page called it a porn game in plain text. I told VValen this during one of the other 10 times he tried pushing that this wasn't a porn game and even posted some screenshots people saved of the original pages, but like always, he's backed to shutting that stuff out. Even in the current steam page, they still emphasize that the game is for porn.

Despite that scene clearly describing an NTR situation, FOW's staff argued the game wasn't going to have NTR. A big part of it's early controversy was due to weird things like this. I believe people would be less disappointed and critical about things if they simply leveled with us and stopped lying/dodging things. Instead of addressing the whole chodestool and bulgetto scenes being scrapped, they just deleted it from their steam page and pretend it was never there. This makes it easy for them to act as though some of the critic are based on things they never told us we'd see.

To be honest, knowing Studio Fow they would certainly prefer to brand their girls as "Cumdump" than "Waifus", but I seriously doubt that it would go through Kickstarter.

why am i feeling this conversation has gotten more reasonable? anyway, imma buy it when it comes to gog. its not a very good game or porn game atm, but i think its still sorta fun. and if this project turns out to be commercially viable, maybe the next one who tries their luck with a AA western porn game (or future fow) will make a REAL hit.
