This is clearly just a hand waving. If they really need that much just to survive, there is no way they would be able to survive in the numbers they have in the game. They would almost immediately starve if that were the case. No really this entire thing makes no sense. Wouldn't they end up in an endless loop of constantly starving and dying in hell because they starve so quickly?
You are comparing evolution from slugs to a race that has been sentient essentially from its inception. Also discounting the presence of magic in the game completely. Why do you think that humanity has developed so quickly in the last 200 years compared to the rest of history? Because of the power of harnessing energy sources for industry. Succubi are born with the capability of harnessing such an energy source ready made, and they have been that way for an extremely long time.
Losing technology in the war would be a valid point, if succubi weren't IMMORTAL, RETAINING ALL OF THEIR MEMORIES WHEN THEY DIE. How are the succubi "losing" their knowledge? Losing history and knowledge is something which happens to humans, because the people who knew that knowledge die, and their records get lost. It makes no sense in the context of succubi who are unaging and can't die.
You dropped all my previous arguments in favor of just these two. Ok, let's debunk them as well.
-Succubi have conquered many worlds, turning countless worlds into a "human farms". They have countless slave worlds dedicated to feed them. Another reason why they invade multiple world all the time. And you disregarded that energy drain sucks ALL your fluids as sperm. That's why you can't keep them alive with just 2 or 3 ejaculation like you suggested in the facility. That's barely a snack for them. However, with energy drain, they are able to get litters from a single human.
-This path to evolution through magic is a slow one. There was one character that revolutionized the way magic is used. Before this character, beings had to add their own essence into a powerful relic, diminishing the being, but increasing his power over an specific area. Like the One Ring of Sauron. After this character, beings could use mana instead. The relics wasn't as powerful, but it could be mass produced.
Before this character, that is very recent, many attempts to actually study magic was hindered due to this huge limitation. Were you willing to exchange your very being for progress into magic?
With this character, research was made it possible into advance the known magic.
That's why I say that you presume everything. You don't know the story and jump to conclusions.
All will be revealed eventually.
But how do they sustain their numbers? I don't think that even a planet sized farm they already have can provide enough men to feed all those trillions/billions succubi. But then again, how were they susteining themselves before they invaded that planet? And how did they manage to conquer an entire planet in the first place if there wasn't hundreds of millions of them already?
If the answer is numerous legions of other species of demons, then succubi really are a bunch of petty, power tripping parasites.
It's not a critique, I'm just dying of curiosity. Also, it must be a literall logistical nightmare of constantly preventing hordes of hungry succubi from slaughtering all the cattle (whatewer species they feed off) and causing massive starvation.
As soon as the new universe began they set out to conquer worlds. It was not only part of their nature, but it was also a necessity. There were many humanoid species before that went extinct due to the succubi hunger, especially during the void wars. And yes, many succubi "died" of hunger, until they had worlds under their control.
Succubi can use energy drain to suck litters from a single man. And they have innumerous worlds conquered eventually, as their numbers grow, so did their slaves.
