The game isn't even 30% done. We got a glimpse of traps, events, the first town-like area and the fact that there will be a tribe system.
Don't compare these 2 chapters to games that have been in development for years.

I don't like it but I can live with the succubus's instant death when you cum as it is heavily tied to the story. Hopefully though there is a big increase in the "safe" romance partners we can take to the hideout. As in its current state there's like 15 evil succubus but only one girlfriend.

Being the hero in this game is super rough

I love it so far. I can't think of much to post right this moment, but I wonder if there will ever be events where love interests like Iole are corrupted and turned into succubi, then turn on you. I liked that with the princess in Monster Girl Quest. That said, great work, keep it up!

I like the game but honestly the artist is the MVP as things are >right now<. That could change, no doubt. The animations for the first chapter were nicely implemented.

If we look at the previous release with this one, a lot has improved. But I'm with Sigma that it would be great if it elevates itself above other RPG maker games - besides its artstyle. Kainkout is an EXTREMELY talented artist.

Plenty of reasons to be optimistic so far, I think it's the low standard of MANY other RPG maker games, that make some people pessimistic.

Plenty of reasons to be optimistic so far, I think it's the low standard of MANY other RPG maker games, that make some people pessimistic.

Yup, because some people were super lazy and only worked with the bare minimum of assets those different RPG Makers have to offer a lot of people know most of those games are boring or even bullshit. But...from time to time a true gem emerges.^^

I have to say, with all the hype about chapter 2 coming out, I feel kind of disappointed...

The update kind of wasn't as quality as the rest... I can't really peg what one thing exactly I could point out but the whole thing just felt very half-hearted. The cut-scenes kind of drone on, I guess was one thing I really didn't like. Actually the cut-scenes are the WORST part of the experience as they drone on for so so long. Story in a game is fine, but they're SO SLOW... so slow. Even if you hold the (what I can only describe as) fast forward button. The panning introductions are also a real pace breaker.

I've taken a lot of time to just play through the game over and over again now, really trying to take in the story and events but when I'm not interested in the story because it's trying to drip an eye-dropper worth of it into my mouth every so often it makes my experience just actively worse.

Also the second set of succubi are really boring in terms of interactions. I don't know how else to describe it other than just lack luster and boring compared to some of the originals. :\

I'm not gonna give up hope, and keep an eye on this... but I'm not holding my breath for the next update.

Hey zion, i downloaded the game and used full screen mode and the screen is just black, only the cursor is visible. Then it crashes whenever i try to click something and says "f8 for more info". is there way to recover my saves and redownload it?

If you are using old saves, that is likely to happen, or your download is corrupt somehow and is missing certain files.

No its new file. I just started playing from scratch and i was in the game and wanted to test out options, then i used the full screen mode and it glithced. whenever i try to open it i can do anything because black screen and when i click options it crash. so like can i take the saves of what ive done so far and then redownload it and put it into my game again maybe that fixes it- idk how to get saves though

The gameplay is constantly changing, it changed from the demo than it changed from chapter 1 and now it changed in chapter 2 and the Dev is still figuring out the kinks as he goes as he gains more experience with it. I dunno what calls out for this much pessimism but if the Dev didn't care about the gameplay or only cared about money, then the game wouldn't be constantly evolving, he wouldn't give most of the money he earns to the artist, animator and voice actresses, he is also in communication with his patreons and ppl on discord on a daily basis so anyone can ask him a question they want and will get their answer there. These are little things that don't matter much, he would have as much money on patreon even without them and could pocket most of it but that is pretty much not the case so far.

You can tell that the gameplay is in fact constantly changing and that Zion does listen to complaints. It has changed so much from the first version to what it is now.
He has made changes that overall better the quality of the gameplay or changes that make more sense in the lore of the game.
