I suspect devs do these things on purpose in order to appeal to a wider audience. For example, some people like naive virgins, so devs tend to include at least one irrespective of their age (which can't be under 18).

In any event, even 18-year olds who have attended a private, all-girls school would likely be both (1) immature compared to their public school peers, and (2) very interested in boys despite their inexperience (because boys must seem a bit like an exotic species to them).

The shorter the time, the shorter the update. This update took long to finish because the Dev's Patrons wanted a longer update. We got a big lovely update, but people were already getting impatient.

So, now it's back to 3-4 months per update. Which means we'll be getting our next update next year... fucking hell. I rather have it on Steam already, to be honest.

The dev doesn't need to show as what happen in every second of MC's life. There are narrative techniques to jump to relevant moments of different days and not to have to pack all the relevant scenes one after another. The dev could have added the same scenes in the update but distributing them in a more natural way along different days without show us all that happens those days if it's just routine like having meals and classes, only showing the relevant moments of those days.
