Hello, everyone!

A simple week is behind us. We've been working on new renders and scripting for CH05. This upcoming week we plan to have most of the script finished. Then it's time to polish it!

More time for development

In an October status update, we informed you that we'll be able to work on Summer Heat full-time for the next few months. We're happy to announce that this will be continuing and hopefully even become permanent next year.

CH04 Feedback survey

Last week we mentioned how we received a ton of responses in the feedback survey... and the responses have more than doubled since then! We are absolutely blown away. Thank you so much to everyone who participated so far!

Earlier this week we also published November's special render, featuring Bree. In case you missed that post,

Sounds great! Since I've decided I'm not going to go to Patreon for BADIK after ep 9 anymore, this game is now the one I will choose to pay for.

Yeah, unless they somehow get in contact with Santa and convince him to work together to finish it before Christmas but I doubt this will happen :unsure: Also, the girl in your pfp is c u t e

Edit: my guess would be end of March/mid April maybe?? I don't know if they'll be working on SH during the Christmas vacation or if they'll take a break.

I don't know this for sure, but they are saying that will be able to work on the game full time for a while (and the survey had a questions about what the players thought would be a decent period between updates)...soooo I think there's a good chance that the next update will arrive earlier than March/April.
But maybe I'm just an optimist today ;)

You could play chapter 1 to 4 in about 30 minutes provided you don't spend 5 mins on a single dialogue exchange. Which normal people tend to not read that slow.

So I don't get your point its still a very short game regardless. I don't see how that is disputed or a slight at the game

My point is that there is enough content for a game that barely has 10 months of production with this level of quality make by two people with limited resources for most of that time. I get complaint about little content when the game is 3-4 years age, but less than 1 year? It's just be impatient

thats sounds more of you problem that you have with people giving their 2 cents on a topic/game. How is stating feedback wrong? Alot of people such as yourself on this site love to take things like its a dig at something. Learn to discern between slander and actual critique.

You think we expect a version 1.0 in just 10 months? Of course not, but the size of 4 chapters of this game is below the average amount of most other VN's single chapters that it might as well just be 2-1 chapters long. If that's how devs want to do things then its up to them, they don't have to bother with my opinion, Im just stating it and basing it off the average adult games people generally play on this site. Hence why most people consider Summer Heats chapters short. No one said it was bad.
