The worst thing that can happen in any story - be it book, movie, or game - is for the audience to be way ahead of the content. This update is the poster child for this.
The devs need to shorten their development time, release more frequent updates, and progress the story at a better pace.
On its current trajectory this game is going to take longer than A Wife And Mother to get anywhere interesting.

I used to support 18 projects at the same time, I was so disappointed with the developers that I decided to stop supporting on Patreon. I realized that Patreon is doing more harm than good to the VN world. I noticed that most devs who managed to establish themselves suddenly started to significantly delay the release of new chapters because it seems more profitable for them to deliver later and receive monthly payments rather than finish their game as soon as possible. And now, the trend is to release chapters divided into parts. I've now decided to buy games that are released on Steam.
Guys, have you ever gotten into a strange room with many passages? Where you had to look for 4 leaves, I pressed the side arrows several times and I was teleported to a strange room with yellow wallpaper. Then the arrows fell off, I was told that "I shouldn't be here" and thrown to the main menu. I've been trying to repeat this trick for 10 minutes to take pictures, but it doesn't work.

I have AVNs vibes from 2017-19 with short updates that suddenly ended like that with an unfinished story, only they came out once a month, and this Mia update took 10 months. R&N should be happy to buy a new car because Mia jerked off MC's dick

I just have to ask: out of all people out there working 8h5days/week - how many actually give a shit about what they're doing? Exactly how involved they're in the product of their labors? Especially if we're talking about some artistic product (since writing likeable characters and making nice renders requires some creativeness). Laziness is bad, yeah, but a blind dedication simply for the sake of regularly spewing the certain amounts of content in the end is much worse for the resulting product.

If i remember well and I'm not mistaken, 0.5 came in 2 parts and thats why it had 3600 renders. probably took 10 months each part too so around 1300 renders per half an update.
