In an ideal world, Liv, no doubt. Being realistic with the scope of this project, none. At this rate it's going to take ages to develop a meaningful story with the main girls, there is no need to waste time in characters that don't matter and that are there just as a excuse to have at least one sex scene per update.

Considering how long it took them for this update, there was very little content. 3 new scenes unlocked that are not really lewd scenes, just some posing with girls being fully clothed, even the ember content had only 1 interaction. I mean the renders are still top quality, and all the girls very interesting, but the update was very modest when compared to the previous one.
I guess will have to wait 1 year for the next one and to see that event with Eve.

Since I don't know anything about rendering either, I don't know how much extra time it takes to change the camera position and face or hand movements, it may give more "life" to the conversation with the character but maybe there are too many similar renders, I think they should reduce the amount of those renders and focus on the ones that have more impact.
I don't think we should compare them with other developers, there are too many things that can be different, money earned, short and long term goals, time invested, type of story, money earned invested in improving the quality of the project, and unforeseen events that can occur in life (If they are real, I'm sure you understand me).

Since I'm not Team MILF, my obvious choice as a supporting character I'd like to know more about is Hannah, what's she doing there and why does Miller send us to ask her name, maybe Miller has a connection with her, I like her freckles and how she treats our dear MC, also each of the protagonists represents a color, she does too, she represents yellow, that could even make her appear in the camp at some point, like those supporting characters that later become main characters. But only in an ideal world where the Devs have 5 PCs rendering 24/7 and updates come out every 3 months, in the current situation, where I feel the main problem is the limit and scope of the project, I prefer them to focus on developing the 5 female protagonists, many VN only have 5 women and that's enough, also a well done supporting character for me is one that has a story and is not only a "Hello, what's your name... LET'S HAVE SEX!", fulfilling the sexual quota of the update with a supporting character seems like a waste of time to me.

Posing, setting up a scene, lighting and then the render takes up a good amount of time. 10 high quality images a day is above what the average single dev can do.
Image count has too many factors to have it be reliable judge for now. Issue comes down to equity of the images they make aka how valuable each image is.
- Say the prior example of 89 images posted earlier moved the plot a good amount. Thats very equitable.
- Say the pipeline uses multiple people, computers, etc so that you amount of images is a non factor. That can be equitable too.
- This is done in movies/anime where you take the infamous toaster scene (which is only 6 images) and overlay a whole dialogue while just staring at the toaster animation. That's smart image equity.
So far Summer Heat doesn't do that. So unless they change some of these things. I'd expect the same output for v0.7.

It bugs me too, I hang out in a few threads where some LIs get hated for one reason or another.
But Mia's case is a special one, seems like people hate Mia just for her existence in the same universe with other LIs who people like more.

No need to read too much into it. He's just helping the MC avoid doing socially idiotic things, like meeting a girl and then leaving without learning her name.

Desperation is not manipulation. MC could likely have Mia do just about anything he wants and she'd do it no questions asked. That how bad she craves his time and attention.

Her "being "cute" isn't the point. If you ignore the fact that she is an ever present borderline jealous ex in the MC's story, did she honestly need yet another lewd scene? Her first one was bad enough with how out of nowhere, for no real reason it was. She's had her first scene, the other LIs need their time as well. Are they going to make her another Cass or Ember girl? Just something there to fill the lewd quota?

This is what I was talking about. People seem to irrationally hate Mia because she has scenes and certain other girls don't yet. And I was saying Mia is cute in my opinion, nothing to do with "being a point" in anyone's argument.

I think it's the fact that MC has a past with her, which to some players makes it feel like she's forced on them, which is also more apparent since she's open about her affection, those who hate her most likely want to be "unburdened" in a way, free to chase after the new LIs with no string attached, so they don't like the fact that MC has an LI who creates an emotional dilemma
