That's impossible.
From v0.5 to v0.6, the content changed.
The v0.5 patch doesn't have some important parts, like the whole introduction.
So, no, it doesn't work and you need the v0.6 patch.

Dev Update #122
I finished posing scene 11. Some shots have yet to be rendered but I'm not in a hurry to have it done.
I was supposed to start writing scene 12 but the third shot of the Moderna vaccine I took on Wednesday decided otherwise. I've been sick since then and I'm barely recovering. I start to write, but couldn't focus and in the end, I didn't accomplish more than throwing a couple of ideas on paper. I will probably start from scratch next week.
I also wanted to make some proper Christmas bonus render but the fever wasn't ok with it. I'll do something next week.
I wish all of you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
And if you don't celebrate it, I still wish you the best!

Cuz right now I'm at day 2 and in the morning Cassie is constantly berating him by calling him an idiot, imbecile, moron, and threatening to assault him in various ways in his own house and he keeps apologizing like a whipped loser!! it doesn't matter even if you chose the right options, she does it anyway and he takes it up the ass like a simp!
Does it get better later on? cuz right now I hate Cassie and the MC equally.

Something for sure, it's not a game for you. I'm sure there are other Chad sigma games somewhere on the site that will fit you better.
I made some trial and error runs using the IPatch without and with other Mods.
Conclusion at current date:
1. using this IPatch without any further Mods -> Worked perfectly
2. using this IPatch with the OscarSix Mod -> I-Path was 'disabled' (Not compatible)
3. using this IPatch with the Sancho Mod -> I-Path remained intact (Compatible)
This is merely my personal experience. I may have missed something in order to make the OscarSix Mod usable with the IPatch. If this is the case, please let me know.

Good evening. FYI, to clarify, please note that my mod was designed to allow integration of the iPatch, but that old iPatch ONLY changes prologue dialogue and does zero in-game with or w/out a mod.
I'd like to also thank all those that have pinged and messaged me with the kind words regarding appreciation of my work. It's always sincerely appreciated to know some folks find benefit or an otherwise find enhancement of their VN experience with the small sample of my mods I release publicly. Regards and enjoy.

Dev Update #123
Once again, I couldn't work as much as I wanted this week. After the booster shot took me down last week, I managed to catch some kind of flu this week.
I still managed to write scene 12 and I even prepared it for posing but the more I read it the less I like it, I'll probably rework it once again.
Some would say that it's probably good enough and that I need to learn to let go of my drafts at some point but the truth is that the more I read it, the more I think I simply failed to convey what is important. I still think that my idea for the scene is correct, but my words are lacking. I'll probably rework it from scratch. The scene is rather short and simple as there is no alternate version or branching to take into account. But it's supposed to be a pretty intense and important moment for the whole cast. I don't have the right to fail.
It's very frustrating because I feel like I'm losing some precious time. I hope that I'll get better next week, health-wise, and that I'll be able to catch up on all those lost hours of work.
Anyway. I wish you all a happy new year !

Well, some-dude is right here The MC is kind of a loser and Cassie is kind of a bitch. There's no need to get triggered and defend some fictional character because deep down you identify with them. Projection is a defense mechanism, after all.
