Dev Update #120

The writing of scene 11 is finished.

I wrote about 3000 words but ended up editing out a part that I felt was useless. I'm satisfied with the script as it is now.

I've cut the script and planned the renders for the scene. Once again, I'll be aiming to improve the render/word ratio of the game which isn't the best. Scene 11 is 2350 words long, and I planned 73 unique renders to go with it, including several pseudo animations, like the blinking eyes I already used in Day 6 part 1.

I'm now working on posing scene 11.

I had to delay that step a bit because I'm still tweaking the outfits of the girls and I'm missing some assets. Like, shoes, backpacks, handbag...
I'm considering my options. Shoes shouldn't be a problem, but handbags and backpacks might as the assets available are very limited. I have to find the assets I need or forget about bags completely before I start posing the scene.

The quick sum up :
  • Day 6 Part 2 will contain 8 scenes (Scenes 11 to 18).
  • Scene 11 is written.
  • 2347 words. 73 renders planned.
  • I'm currently posing scene 11.

blinking models is one of the biggest improvements devs can make to bring more life to the models, is such a cool feature that I end up feeling off when I play games without blinking since the models start to look like mannequins I was so glad to see you added blinking to the models

After countless hours and attempts to reach the love path with both girls, I was really surprised by the bad ending....
Like a slap in the face, this part of the story hit me and literally blew me away! So bitter and sad, but incredibly well told and portrayed!
Of course, after that I was immediately back to finally find the supposedly right answers and tread the path again.

After many more hours I finally did it!!!!
Both girls and I as a love triangle. Yaaaaaay!
But then everything came quite differently.......

I know I sound bitter for sure.... But basically it is "only" my destroyed hope and quiet expectation of the story?

I don't know what you are playing but I'd like to see the list. I'm still posing scene 11.

It's not going as fast as I thought it would and on top of that, I lost about a day of work with a stupid mistake.

With 5 Genesis 8.1 characters in that scene, the files are pretty heavy to load. And that means that whenever I make a mistake and need to reload a file, I have to spend about 10 minutes waiting for the scene to load.

And that's exactly what happened. Forgot to give some eyebrows to one of my characters and I noticed it too late. As a consequence, I had to spend almost a full day loading some already posed shots in order to edit out that stupid mistake.

I have to deal with the loading time problem. I know how to do it but I have to wait for that scene to be fully rendered as dealing with the problem will require uninstalling some assets... and doing so would prevent me from batch rendering all the already posed shots.

As of now, 45 shots are posed and 20 rendered.

I finally abandoned the idea of giving handbags and backpacks to the girls. I didn't find the necessary assets. As a consequence, their dresses have magic pockets and they are very happy about it.

I hope to finish the posing by Wednesday and start working on scene 12 immediately after. If I could finish the writing for Christmas, that would be perfect.

OH BTW THIS GONNA HAVE SOME SPOILERS....






I'm not saying the game is bad. The choice and consequences are nice, but the writing is inconsistent. I get later you try to address some of the flaws in it with exposition after the fact, but then you're like yeah these two get mad at you for X when they are literally doing the same thing to you. Like how the hell does girl A get mad boy cheats on her with girl B when girl A and B are cheating on each other with the boy. I was dying during the hyperventilating part, but theres zero him thinking "wait a second.....didnt these two guilt trip me hardcore over this?" I mean ffs....what you got is a leaky boat and yeah I get it, porn game, but they aren't even really blood related so half of the problem is gone. The MC is just the bitch 3rd wheel in a threesome they just let him in on, but don't even admit was happening until after they treat you like a piece of shit and he completely lacks the emotional maturity to realize they did him really dirty.

Half the drama goes out the window once you realize they've been pegging each other behind the MC's back for YEARS. All the drama of their first time, gone. All of that his penis scares me, gone. One of the girls pegs you twice, then thinks you're just gonna use her for sex. I mean....what? Then when that orange has been squeezed dry you find a way to blame the MC for his sister being sexually assaulted after she admits she told literally no one it happened and literally like everything else, even the stuff that isn't his fault at all......he whimpers like a bitch, calls himself a dumbass for hours, and lets her blame him until its convenient for her to let it go for the sake of the plot. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends in some weird ntr bullshit and he's like "you know what, i deserve this". She should have known after how he reacted to two dudes trying to drug and rape them that he would have cared. If nothing else thats one thing he didnt act indifferent about., but naw.....she might have thought that before, but to throw it in his face after the twins and how he was getting pissed at the cops for not doing anything? Another leak in the boat that will after addressed will have some patchwork exposition to fix it.

You gotta write in service to the character's logic and fit that logic into your story. What you got here bare bones is great. The characters are good and have depth, but your main has no spine most of the time which is fine until he needs it for the plot. The sister is angry until she gets the love she always wanted from her brother and can become submissive.....but still shits on him for doing the exact same thing shes doing and to literally just fuck with him at points, but she doesn't want him to stop loving her. The best friend is somehow a dom......okay....then thinks doing hardcore sex stuff with her will make you want more than hardcore sex stuff.....okay....unless you just don't rub her feet once and that whole dom thing goes completely out the window. Also steve.....don't get me started on Steve and his "gf".
Hi I'm the main character and I have zero problem with people grabbing my phone all the time and having two women in love with me who want to talk about my best friends dick with a girl they dont know.....because that wouldn't ever piss any guy off. Lord know thats what I expect of all my girlfriends....extreme interest in my friend's dick.

Taking them outta your pictume would mean severing ties,
