In regards to the other game on your list, in short the MC is once again a horny, 18 y.o., just back from school for the summer when he starts to perv out on his mom, which if you've seen her, is perfectly reasonable. What isn't is, the depths to which he will go all cringey and rapey to get into her pants. It's a slow burn that despite having a setup for a harem, the MC becomes obsessed like a stalker (even with other females around to focus on) stopping at nothing, including sexual assault (sleep sex mostly) to get action with her. He does succeed in slowly corrupting and seducing her so she is at least consenting, but even when she tells him NO, he still forces himself on her because "he can't help it and is too horny". So far in the game they've gotten at least to oral sex foreplay and some grinding but no P-in-V yet. It's ridiculous because literally everyone else in the game is having sex including his lesbian/bisexual sister and a cheating, nympho-aunt who literally fucks every other guy, but somehow has friend-zoned him, along with the other milfs in the game... oh and its more or less a kintetic novel with the only choices happening early in the game and leading to a 'game over' if you pick the wrong one.

It might help for context if you let us knows some VNs you actually did enjoy because all I got from your rant was how much you disliked SwM. I mean if incest with a sibling and parent while having public/exhibitionist sex, blackmail, and making porn is vanilla, well I don't know what to tell you other than this IS a 3 year old game that came out in 2018. Not exactly groundbreaking compared to some of the newer releases in the past 12 months.
As I have mentioned at the end of my "rant", in the end it's more about the quality alone that the content. I can enjoy everything, it just has to be done well. Patreon limits, resp. blocks incest entirely. Icenton do it so you name what characters are to you, what you are to them and thus incest is in the game. I'm pretty sure you understand that this way you really cannot make a good incest game. It's just a cheap substitute for it. It doesn't work at all. When it goes to other content it's a lot about emphasis about it. MC has sex with Mia in a changing room. Do you feel it's a public place? Are you reminded of it in some way? No, you are not. How about add a few pictures how Mia and MC stoll through a full shop? How about add some people talking in next cubicle, maybe even having suspision about what's happening there so MC is forced to quiet down Mia with his hand, etc.? And the scene itself. There is a full-length mirror in front of them. How about mention it? Use it for some dirty talking? Tell Mia how slutty she looks getting fucked by her brother in a changing room like a cheap whore? Something, anything. It's just bland, boring, uninteresting the way it is written... Inceton focus more on awkward animations over good writting. I'm one of those that think animations in those games are pretty much useless. Just a couple nice stills with more angles and better writting is just a better way to do it. But I'm sadly in minority, so it's never going to happen.

Yeah, I thought like ok, there is point where Mia and MC has sex, sort of like necessity in storyline, and will have THE TALK after. But I think it's wrong. They should add option to not having sex with her at all. But it wasn't only about the sex with Mia, it was the whole thing. Dialogues between them when MC is again acting like some wannabe jokester, but comes out like immature idiot, AGAIN. It's like he's acting as himself only in front of Mia and acts normal in front of others. Which in the end doesn't change the fact he is an idiot in disguise.
We'll see how it goes after that, but it doesn't change my opinion - episode 4 is crap. Through playing first three episodes the biggest negative for me was existence of the prequel, resp. how bad prequel was. And then they come and create episode 4. Honestly it felt like kick in the balls for me. And they have to fuck to become friends in the end? Do you really think this is the right way to do it? Does MC have to cheat on his girlfriend to repair his relationship with Mia? It's bad fucking design in my opinion. Honestly I now doubt they will give us any meaningul options in the game. Just another kinetic novel with fake choices. I don't really care much about what they do with their games, I just find it such a shame to waste potential of a game by bad game design.
Truth be told, while the girlfriend is lovely and seemingly perfect, I still would prefer the option to break up with her, especially once Mia confesses she still is in love with the MC. Since I fully intend on pursuing a proper relationship with her, I'd just as prefer not to cheat on my current girlfriend who has already professed her love, and I could not say it back to her since there is someone else.
And here you have it. That's why it would better have some "branching storyline" as they, so far falsely, advertise. You want a relationship with her, I want to be "just friends" with her (but honestly wouldn't mind even for their relationship staying cold as it was in the beginning). This is not so much about who the girlfriend is, it's about the fact they makes you feel like MC is really with her just to "get over Mia" and wouldn't mind pushing her away in a split second if Mia spread her legs for him again. That just pisses me off. We all saw what a doughbag he is in the first game, but this is imo even worse than anything in the first game. The funniest part in the most pathetic of senses is that in E4, after Mia and MC rekindle their feeling to each other the only thing they are able to do is fuck each other.
mia fucks mc mostly in mainstory and ntr is very mild on this (mainstory but not that mild on sidestories).
