Thank you! Haven't checked the offtopic thread in a while so I hadn't seen this yet. I totally understand his explanation. It makes absolute sense and even though I don't fault him it also doesn't keep me from being disappointed.

While the Bella interactions are certainly the bigger issue there are others that let me down such as the Nami bathroom scene and the porch scene with Nojiko. The latter one just felt so empty. Like it was only made as an excuse for the lewd Noji renders. All in all I guess I just miss some of the edge the MC used to have.

People babbling about this being the best story ever when Ocean himself is making this game without a script. Changing who is LI and who's not. Supposedly connecting two games and then saying that Wiab gets a whole story overhaul. All in all, I bet that chapter 5 is going to be a turning point of this project flopping or turning into another VN with porn in it.

My man, do you understand that WIAB and SG are work in progress right? Obviously change is going to happen. Nothing is set in stone.

Hello,

First of all: I called this Dev Log #1 because it's the first solely dedicated Chapter 5 Dev Log.
Second of all, usually, there wouldn't be an SG Dev Log today, but a promise I made over a year ago now bit me in the ass.

Over a year ago, I made a promise to my Mother to doggo-sit my own dog... (I didn't take him with me into the center of a big city.)
What I didn't take into account is, that I'd move across the country.
I won't be able to render for 14 days.
But that doesn't mean I'm not going to work on the games.

I will be writing a lot, and I will already do the postwork for all the SG & WiAB renders I already got.
Which is quite a bit in WiAB's case. (And around 190 for SG Chapter 5)

I will also start with the phone coding for SG Chapter 5.

I really dislike having to go there, but they do deserve their vacation. And it's probably the last time I will ever see my Doggo.
(Next month he will turn 15, and his race has a max life expectancy of 14.)
Anyways, work is still going to be done, and the hardest part of the WIAB update is behind me. (The damn farm and everything surrounding it.)

What's wrong with the best story ever that made without a script? Does it make it any less awesome? I guess what matters is whether you like what you see or not. And if you don't like the game no script ever will help it.

But... But what if Ocean himself doesn't know yet WHERE FECKING SUMMER'S GONE!!!111

Tbh thats kinda Oceans fault, he makes all the girls so damn sexy that you want to have a romance path with every one of them lol

Yeah to me that's kinda one of the things I'm down on. I wish he'd make a few normal looking girls (not ugly ones lol) as well but with more thought and focus put into their personalities and such. And it would've made sense seeing as this game is about relationship and character building and not sex and appeal. Would've also been something different than the usual formula for these kinds of games. but alas he went with the typical approach of every girl looking like a super model and it's fine I guess. Still would've preferred the other approach.

Its funny that you guys think that if people like me ask to make kate a Li ocean will just do it because a group of fans asked him to do it, guys.. please he has his own opinion about his game obviously, and his opinion will change with time that is something normal, if you guys dont trust him with how the game will proceed i dont know what u guys are doing here.

the characters that he builds are interesting, almost all of them and he will make the final decision about the Li`s.

its only normal that we give our opinion too about what is our favorites characters and each of them we hope to see as Li

I dunno whose ass that is but that is one of the best sculpted asses i have seen on this website. The bikini tan lines are a perfect addition as well.
