Jokes aside, I heard a month ago (more or less) that the new full 5.0 will be released at the end of the year or the beginning of 2024, I don't know how true this information is, but I heard that. Someone said this, not Ocean, just to be clear.

Yes, the translation programs have become better, but that is confined to a few major languages with rather fixed word order where there is a lot of improvement. Other languages on the most important list like German or Japanese, which are more flexible, the programs still translate with glaring errors in word order, lexicon and meaning. Something that is not confined to the longer sentences, but even short sentences can still come out literally unreadable.The phrases are now much better in Google translate. Few yeas ago they ware just bad/non existent. The integrated spellchecker on F95 is also good when trying to write here without GT... My English is now good, I don't use it vocally, so there is my weakness.
Still, there is progress on the translator front, but not equally on all major languages.

Jesus... damn blue balls... it takes forever. I know that a trauma lasts forever, but damn it, in the last chapter, Nami manages to lift Mc's cock a little in the jacuzzi, I thought it was enough for a handjob at least in full 5.0 or maybe Mc's can lick a little pussy or something like that (Nika can't feel pleasure, but he could please others). In my language it's better then obviously in yours. We're not that big, but GT is now pretty good. It "understands" phrases and ambiguous words much better, but then I have to try enter the whole sentence, not just a word in GT. It helps too that I see by myself that something doesn't fit there as it should.

Next up is a WIAB release.
Ocean is working on both SG and WIAB at the same time.
The CH 5 Beta is coming and it will likely include the rest of the CH 2 rework (and perhaps any remaining updates needed in CH 3/3.5 to support the Sasha path which is getting buffed in the CH 1/2 reworked content).
We are already at 1,000 + renders for the next SG rev so I'm thinking July/August but that is only my guess versus a definitive statement from Ocean.

So... I'm around 1100 renders in, I've also finished a few animations & work on the phone is also progressing.
I also increased the weekly hours I put into Blender. I feel like I don't make enough progress there.
The phone work is slowing Ocean down - he can work on the phone or do more with scene development and he is trying to strike a balance.
He's had help with the phone UI but the freelancer who committed to doing other work on the phone bailed so Ocean took it on.

As mentioned above, the work on the phone has begun. Good boi Messe has created a lot of fantastic-looking UIs for me. The coding part is definitely the hardest, as I'm still doing it myself. But I'm getting there. Here's the current main menu.
Progress is pretty fast, even though the phone takes quite a few hours away from setting up scenes atm.
Maybe we will have the phone for the CH 5 Beta or maybe it will not be available until CH 5 Full - either way, I think it will be a great add!
I'm happy to support Ocean and, from the comments of Ocean's supporters on SS and Patreon, I think the vast majority of us are pleased with the progress of the next rev and of Ocean's efforts to get 'Steam ready' for the Season 1 release on Steam.
Each 2 week update on SG has seen Ocean add to the render count by hundreds. We still don't know the status of animations or music so we'll have to let Ocean give us the updates that address those before anyone besides Ocean has a better estimate on when the CH 5 Beta release will be.

Well, as I said, the translations of e.g. German, Japanese are getting better too. A couple years ago, rubbish translations of even easy sentences were the norm, today you get something halfway useful, if very buggy, out of them. The programs sometimes get out fitting correct translations, but they suck big time with mood particles, multiple meaning words, pre- and suffixes (separable verbs are the death for the programs it seems) and anything that is not standard word order.. And even standard order is a mixed bag, languages with verb last order are really tough for the programs, going by what outrageous selections they do.In my language it's better then obviously in yours. Oh, I love this! When I started learning English, I learnt the UK English, but I only interacted with Americans, making my English a collage of both. Till today, Language or Translate asks me which English I'm writing. This let me know a lot of colloquialism, which gives great texture to interactions and are like a collectable that you can snatch, and you use, like I will be using "Ain't here to fuck spiders" from now on.
I'm so used by now that it will be strange to see it when the time comes. It is strange just to think about it now, like it is forbidden or desecrated holy soil.

imo we won't see any sex content in this game, too many LI, too many relationships to build, it's like a nightmare to developer
and after a few updates he will want to redo the first chapters again, also there is 2nd game

That must have been fun. I'm on the flipside, I learned it in the US, but so many of my dealings are with people in Europe and the UK (and I watch a lot of BBC stuff) so I get a fun collection as well. I wish the US had panel shows like Have I Got News for You or Mock the Week (sadly ended). The general sense of humor presented is so much better than what we have domestically.
(veering back on topic) Which makes me wonder a bit where Ocean learned English, because I'd read that he's German, and you can kind of tell sometimes in the things he says (bibi, wormy, etc) but overall does a really good job putting it together. I wonder if his special lady is a native speaker.

It is impossible for there not to be sex in this game, at the point where we are there has already been contact so sex is coming, it may take a long time to arrive, you are right there, but it will eventually arrive, perhaps there will not be as much lewd content as other games (something I even understand since the story and the characters take precedence over sex in this game, which I see well) but sooner or later there will be sexual content. In addition, the very introduction of the game tells you that if you are not able to endure without sexual scenes that you think about coming back later, a clear indication that there will be sex.
Why "bibi" and "wormy" would be an indication that he is German? I mean, I know Ocean is German, but why this words specifically would indicate that?
