But Ocean has the first story complete in his head, not 100%, but he knows how all main characters from WIAB finish... Now is everything to make them to go there... In SG, those characters from WIAB are there, but we didn't had, probably, real contact with them... Teachers could play a story too... MC will go with Ayua in her dojo... We could there find bunch of old gang there... Or not... ;)

Its mostly hints so far. Ayua being a Zane and asian and Katie being her Aunt, Holgerson being around, Sasha being a Petrova, Sasha and Nami each wearing on of Leia's earrings, maybe Nika and/or Nami having a Zane origin too. There are a lot of possibiltys and i really enjoy the interconnection but so far there not a lot of hard facts.

I think the thing to remember is it is a fan wiki, so fans try to be accurate, but they also want to appear to be the keepers of secret insider knowledge. I personally enjoy the easter eggs for the fourth wall continuity - they're often nods to things that the people in the scene will have no idea about - there is no way that Nika will know what Helen's perfume smells like, so it is asking us to either a) find some obscure connection like a conspiracy between Bella and Helen, or just assume that it's a timeless brand and it hints they share a certain sense of elegance or style. I can't remember it being mentioned like that, and if scents were mentioned, maybe it's just Ocean's favourite? Could just be a popular expensive brand that every well off girl in Wollust wears (so everyone, but Nami, Mila, Maja and Victoria? :sneaky: ). I don't think every detail is part of the plot, but I do enjoy trying to work out what are red herrings, what are details for the sake of writing style and what is genuinely deepening the plot.

I replayed the original WIAB and the current one to get a feel for what things have been kept so far and what's changed. Still can't guess. From the dev logs for WIAB though, there are some fairly significant character changes, so the plot is already moving into different territory, so the old version only gives indication of some of the broad themes (and places) that might remain consistent, rather than directly following the plot.

And that's exactly why I don't like to play the old versions in any game... It's confusing and sometimes annoying that when something changes drastically... Now I only choose the new versions, when there are two types, and every game is much more enjoyable because there is no the feeling of "what if"...

Getting were I don't want to check out this thread sick of seeing and hearing about WIAB here said it before never once when playing Summers Gone has wiab crossed my mind maybe a little less talk about it here would be nice if you like wiab it has it on thread

For me, because the quality of the new one is higher, and the characters are more consistent, I'm not at all worried about "what if", I have no nostalgia for the old version. I'd started it before it was remade though, so I probably wouldn't be keen to check it out if I'd played the remake first. I can understand how people miss the music of SG far more easily than I can understand how people think the pre rework WIAB was astounding. Around Ch 6 of the old one, there's a noticeable change in the the quality of the renders, like a shocking change; everything before was so far worse than what caused the remake of SG. In the first chapter of WIAB it had already become a more interesting story to me than the potential of the old version, and I like the idea I am still guessing about the characters and continuing plot in SG because the story of WIAB is still unfolding. When we see some of the characters start to appear in SG I think we'll have a lot more questions than answers.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't Helen in her 40's in WIAB? If she ever makes an appearance in SG, she'll be in her 60's, right?

All I know is: She's so freaking hot! Love it! :love:

By the way, there is a pic on the wiki of Katie Zane's car in SG...where can we see it in the story?

It seems that in the next update we may not see the event with the party on Monday. So there are already a lot of events on Saturday and Sunday, and this event will take a lot of effort

I think Ocean mentioned that itch have decided to make the devs deal with all the relevant taxes, so it became a nightmare to manage payments. Could have misunderstood the situation though.

Rather sad news today. itch.io has effectively ended the sale of adult games on their platform.

The past few weeks, an email has been sent informing adult content creators that they can only sell their games on itch.io by enabling "direct payments", instead of bulk payments through itch.io, from now on. They did so without prior warning and with only a 30-day period for developers to cease payments or switching to direct payments. As all major payment processors available on itch.io (Paypal, Stripe) have clauses preventing the sale of adult content, this is not a viable option and will only result in getting my merchant account banned.
