Meh...Ocean changed hundreds of things that I reverted back... I didn't mean to do this one though... nice catch bud. The only names I allow to change intentionally are the MC, Nami, and Bella. Any other naming difference are a fubar (bork) by me.
I'm pounding coffee currently...and starting the mod update for that other VN. Summer was rough though, ain't gonna lie... Ocean always give me a challenge... and this one certainly was tbh. I can't think of any way I could have done it in less than the three 16+hr days it took me... there's so much coding alterations/fixes I banged out. Considering the above surname is the only "bug" anyone has caught in the mod update makes me a bit proud though... I did go through the script line by line for 38,000 lines and I PM'd Ocean all the feedback I had logged.

Agree.If this was 90% + of the AVNs here on F95 - The MC would be actively working to ensure Noji kicked Nick to the curb because the MC is 'supposed' to have mom for himself.
In Summers Gone - I like Nick - and given that he opens his house up to Noji, Nami and the MC as soon as Noji asks for help - that means something.
The MC has always been very protective of Noji and Nami. It would be in keeping with his character for him to be supportive of Noji's relationship with Nick so long as Nick gives him no reason to doubt his good intentions.
I think having parental figures that actually act like decent people is a plus for storytelling and world-building in Summers Gone.
Nick is the only decent male role model we've met so far.
I am curious how long it will take for Nick to have a talk with the MC about he and Zara (once their feelings evolve and that LI path is open and pursued). That would be a good Dad move and fit the story based on what we know so far.
I'm sure some of the haters/trolls on this thread would complain about it - given how Un porn-like it is - but I am happy to support Ocean as he tells this story his way.

I think BaD can't compete with SG in terms of graphics quality. In general, few can leave her any competition.
Ocean received a game that has already achieved success thanks to Regium. Regium made characters with different personalities and behavior. Ocean could not repeat this and his characters are all the same and differ only in appearance. Example: At the beginning, Nami sexually harassed MC and showed him her tits without reason, then Victoria started doing this, now it’s Bella’s turn. Now Zara began to harass MC. Almost all the characters have no personality, they are like soulless dummies.

SG's plot is no slower than BaD's, but development is very slow. Do not confuse. People complain about this all the time. Many joke about this that during development they will manage to get married, have children and have grandchildren and will grow old by the time the game is over.

You're best with a new playthrough anyway... even if you use SanchoMod. While not technically required there were some changed variables, some removed, some added, etc. Not to mention several chapters have hundreds upon hundreds of transition, restructure, etc changes in them. Just start fresh... and if you're playing unmodded you'll likely want these two fixes from my post here I made just for unmodded Players.
Well, maybe the problem is that Ocean still has to remake the scene between Nika and Bella's aunt in the infirmary. The whole first basketball lesson + infirmary scene are still from the "old game" version and they need to be remade for the full chapter 5 (and Steam) release.

That happened to me while a fresh restart just with the (borked) ICPatch. Because the lack of a certain mod whose dev was to lazzy and more busy to finish a ribey instead being our selfless coding slave.
Yeah I noticed that two fixes of yours, nice work bud. This game is one of the few I play mostly undmodded - beside the ICPatch. I can say that in the most cases I prefer a detailed PDF walkthrough over the usuall pick the green and not the red awnser mods.
