I think Bella's set on being casual, for the same reason she kept changing her mind on the date - the footsies etc. She has a natural chemistry with Nika, but whenever she catches herself even slightly fawning, she gets angry with herself. I think she wants Nika to prove himself to her partially, but I think her shit talking is a defense mechanism as well.Looking forward to some Zara time. She grew on me over Ch. 5. As did Nia. The end of her scene was heartbreaking.
Bella is still uncontested #1 of course but the constant shitting on each other gets a bit stale by now I think. I don't get why she is so dead set on staying "casual" for now because she doesn't make any kind of moves on anyone else, ever (at least that we know of) so what's in it for her?
As my story went we'll only stay at Nicks for a few weeks before moving in with Mila and Nami + X. Although we all know that "a few weeks" are years in Ocean time. I really hope his plans of hiring a guy to do the coding again works out and development speeds up considerably.
I'm unsure if the book club subplot and introducing even more potential LIs with one fell swoop is a good direction to take. Many of the original ones didn't have any time in the spotlight at all yet and the archetypes seem to overlap a bit. Sasha seems to be the next S1 Bella now. And there's suddenly a whole bouquet of Milfs to choose from. Is this gonna turn into a BaDik situation where you either choose to be faithful to a main girl or sleep around with the side girls?
I think Ocean is purposefully crowding the choices to make it hard to stay faithful. It has been mentioned there will be consequences for having loose relationships. So I don't think all these characters will have the same levels of interaction, that would be far too complicated. I think there will be the ones like Jenna and Anna that Nika can risk manipulating for the stories sake, but we've already seen that gossip travels fast, and now Robin's mum knows the rumours. Ocean might put some of them there as red herrings so people chase them, only to get rejected or something. I think more than anything its to provide a believable context rather than have empty corridors. We're always wondering if someone in the background is important or not. It's pretty devious. But players who want to just get the lewds will get lots of quick action I think, and lose their reputation, and lose meaningful relationships.I don't like the gun scene either, but why are you blaming Regium? The script for SG was made by Ocean, Regium only followed it.
I don’t understand MC’s problem anymore, when he thinks about Summer, everything works, then for some reason it stops working. Once Nami rubs against MC, everything starts working again. If MC suffers from impotence, then even with dreams of Summer, nothing should work for him. This all looks far-fetched. If he was worried about this problem, MC would go to the doctor for pills. Why didn't Nojiko bring him pills from work?
Since I started talking about Nojiko, she is also very strange. She works as a doctor in a hospital, since she was able to cure Zara’s father, whom other doctors could not help, then she is one of the best specialists. Doctors get a lot of money, it’s not a problem for them to buy a house like Bella’s, but specialists like Nojiko should get even more money. So why does MC say that their family has no money? Why do they live in a house for the poor? They must have a lot of money.
Well, the last thing I don’t understand is the new girls. Ocean in season 1 should introduce us to the characters. But instead he constantly adds new girls. At the beginning I added Sasha’s friends, a brunette and a redhead, we meet them in the corridor when we go on an excursion to an educational institution. They are stunningly beautiful, but until now we don’t even know their names. Then we are told about the women's basketball team, which we have yet to meet, and we should not forget that MC will go to the yoga club where there are only girls. Next, the MC is locked in handcuffs in the women's locker room where we meet many girls. And finally, we go to the reading club, where there are also a lot of girls. Is Ocean going to bombard us with female characters? I just don't understand how he's going to fit this into a game consisting of 32 chapters. If the MC communicates with everyone, then even 100 chapters will not be enough.
It seems that Ocean has begun to rework his script, and now the number of LI is not clear.
Yes, exactly this. And I think some of the characters have been chosen purely so the information can come from all kinds of different sources - like the gym, or the walk: you get completely different information revealed depending on who you choose to talk with/go with etc.Even though there are a bunch of hungry cougars in the book club scene, I guess it's meaning is bigger than just a possible source of the new flings for the MC, it's secondary. Much more interesting is the acquaintance with the high society of the city, various conversations that are clearly of great importance for the further plot and which the MC overheard. And his discovery that not everything is as simple as he (and the players) thought about the people around him, that every female character has their own secrets, Noji, Amber, Katie, Sasha - they are all hiding something from the MC. And he, as we know, is a very curious guy.![]()
