Not to mention the entire line of criticism is completely beside the point. Ocean's developed a unique aesthetic in a digital medium that requires powerful graphics processors to realize. If you find that aesthetic compelling, you like Ocean. (I very much do, just to be clear.)We're not looking for flaws - we're pointing out how much worse the quality is than what we've seen in OCeans work. Again, the fact that you can't see these problems but look for flaws in Ocean's work shows you have no aesthetic credibility or judgment. You keep undermining your own arguments with terrible examples that make people doubt your eyesight.
I think Ch5 Full will be over 10000 renders - Ocean's quality control is much higher than that one render provided tha thas so many flaws. You can't be taken seriously when this is your "smoking gun" for how Ocean is wasting his time leasing video cards. You've also shifted the argument - initially is was why 'Ocean ddoesn't need expensive video cards', now you've changed the your argument to 'Ocean makes mistakes'. No one is buying your point of view because you're just continually just shifting attacks, dropping what you were talking about. It's hard to see your point when you keep jumping around merely to attack from a different angle. If you want to have credible points, be consistent.
The burden of proof is on you, not us. We're actually quite calm and happy - we'd be happier with Ch5 full, but I guess we all have to find our copium somehow.
We can see the flaws in Ocean's work, but again, in the whole VN up to current, Ocean has far better quality control than that one render you used to show how Ocean could improve. That basically shows the whole thread what your opinion actually is.
If you don't, then I guess his games are tedious, over-stylized melodramas with unjustifiable production timelines. I don't know why one would then go on and on about it on an Ocean forum, but that's a separate mystery.
But trying to make it an argument about image quality control is like bitching that Georges Seurat is too low-resolution.
(That's the pointilism guy.)
