No, it didn't. Darling, you are aware that rules exist here, right? While I understand that everyone has a voice, which is an inevitability of the internet, there are rules here. "Be respectful. Opinions are fine, attacks are not" is literally the first rule for users on F95. It happens that during that time, around Chapter 5's beta release, everyone was attacking Oceans. When I was a regular here, I had countless conversations with other users who had critical opinions on SG, and things turned out fine, so it doesn't have to be like that. The problem, and probably why my post was pinned, was that too many users were rude and disrespectful. My post wasn't a rant or a vent; it was a reminder and somewhat of a callout for those users. I thought it was apparent, but you seem to have missed that, hence the "didn't register with you" comment.

Of course, it seems silly to you... you yourself said that you rarely move past the first page. This is why I don't understand your comment. You're generally not here, so you're ignorant of what happens here. A user wanting to go to the latest page hoping to post their thoughts, opinions, and questions isn't usually looking for an angry mob(the exact situation at the time of my post). Your rebuttal here is basically to not participate in the thread. Ok, for the users that were never interested, done. What about the users that are interested? Are they looking for negativity by clicking the latest page and coming across a barrage of angry comments? What's your suggestion there? Furthermore, there've been countless cleanups here before and after that post. Many posts have been removed, and many users have been banned altogether. Until the next update, you'll be hard-pressed to find the users I referred to.

We're not talking about any of that... you said that Oceans wasn't discouraged and insinuated that he wasn't affected by the users my post referred to when that couldn't have been further from the truth. You say to ignore those users and to accept criticism because it's the price of publishing your creation, but there's a natural limit to what people can handle. There's a difference between constructive criticism and hateful comments. Most of the developers that left this site left because of the latter. I've seen it happen far too often myself, and I'm not even here that much(anymore).

Luv, I get where you're coming from, but few developers are actually like that. I haven't seen many inactive developers in the nearly four years I've been here. I'm a creator myself with my own published projects, so I believe that I have some degree of understanding of where these developers come from. Whether it be to read feedback or to interact with fans... a lot of developers are active here. As a developer, of course, you'll always be the villain in someone's eyes, but there's still a limit to what you can handle. For most devs, that limit is when groups of users gang up on them. At that point, it's hard to "block out that noise." As was the case for Oceans and many other developers. You'll think you have thick skin until you're put in that position.

You and your assumptions... I responded to you because you quoted me. Darling, this is the first time you and I have interacted and the first time you've read any of my posts. You don't know me enough to tell me what I was annoyed by(like what?? Lol). Although your labelling of it as a rant was a bit interesting; what I actually cared about was the fact that you quoted my post and then made several assumptions about me, the post, and why it was a part of the OP despite you knowing little of what goes on in this thread. That's the main thing that annoyed me. Don't lecture me about not reading comments or ignoring users because, up to that point, we all already tried that. You were also making assumptions about the reworks and Oceans, but I honestly don't care that much about that because I'm past the point of arguing someone else's opinion on this game and Oceanlabs.

I'm in a similar boat as you, lol. The only reason I'm here(as in, visiting F95) right now is your quote. Although we got off to a weird start, I hope that your future experiences here are nothing but positiveღ

P.S.: Good luck with your franchise and future projectsღ
Because it's a reply to something about a pinned post, I guess I'm safely on topic. Whenever the dust settles on yet another round of mod purges, so much context is lost. Things are cleaner, but opinions lose their connections and seem unhinged when no one sees the behaviour they were a reaction or reply to. At the time you made that post, it was handy, like a reasonable adult stepping in the room, and asking the kids to pick up their lego. It didn't work, the mods still had to nuke from orbit, and the internet kept gravitating to the lowest common denominator. As a fragment of discourse, it doesn't make sense, but I think it was worth pinning, because your posts are wonderfully articulate and it's a good reminder that discussion needs to be thoughtful. Striving not to be the lowest common denominator in a disagreement about a story driven AVN is a worthy goal. Conformity isn't the goal, but respect for difference. We all have time to be reasonable; this site is where most people come to waste time, not for the high speed antics.

PS. It's always good to see your posts!

Very good game even if everything can't be perfect.
I changed some choices and was able to see the foursome scene with MC Nami Mila and Vic... Really awesome and sensual scene... Even if I would have liked to go further, this kind of scene is missing.
Keep going.

Vic is the sweetest girl and one of my favourites. Hopefully we will get more Vic content soon.

Finally...where ya been hiding GoA...I thought I was the only Vic fan around here lately!
Just today rewatched scenes with her and found her to be the most underrated character by me. Literally the first LI to appear in the game and the one who triggers the MC to try to fix his life. Her scene at the physiotherapist is one of my favorites despite the old renders.

I have waved the Vic banner a few times here my friend, I just don't have the time to give the forum that I use to unfortunately so I tend to stick to a select view threads and only get to venture out to other threads when I get the time. I love SG and Ocean's work especially Vic, Sasha and Amber. I adore them each for different reasons.

Yeah, for me Vic is the most interesting character at the moment.

At first glance, she is open with everyone and clear as day, but she probably has some kind of yet untold hidden story.
While the roles of other girls begin to more or less take shape and become clear, Vic for now is just an ever-smiling girl in a wheelchair who is always somewhere nearby. But she is clearly has important role in the main plot. Not to mention her very pleasant personality.

If only Ocean would stop messing with her boobs. :HideThePain:

In Chapter 4x5, half of the renders with her are very attractive, but the rest look rather weird.
I would prefer her to look like in these treats renders with a collar and leash.
She is simply perfect there from her toes to her head. :BootyTime:

Summer's Gone Dev Log - Season 1 All Changes
Hello,

So, the Dev Log is a day late, and there's a good reason for it. I just can't get into it at the moment. I will be able to do so in around two weeks.

I will finish all the postwork today and continue with the gallery next.

I will ship Chapter 2 to the proofreaders today, and testing will go hand in hand with the gallery work.

The testing process is a little more complicated this time, as I have to test for the ability to port saves.

It means I gotta test a ton of variables and see if they port correctly.

I did get sick of postwork a few times in the past two weeks and instead worked on Season 2.

Expect some nice previews after the release of the Full.

Today, I will show all the changes I made since the initial Chapter 5 Beta release.

One thing I can assure you is that this is the last rework SG will see until the entire game is finished. I don't care if earlier Chapters suddenly start looking like Old-School Runescape Characters; we'll only be moving forward.

And the momentum Steam, etc., gives us will be used for it.

There's A LOT of renders coming... Prepare. All images in full res are in the zip down below.

We'll start with Chapter 2. The actual target of the last part of the rework.

Chapter 2:

Old Heist

New heist

Old Cheeto route:

Nami vs Bella - Basketball New (The new version gets a little more physical.)

Old Nurse & Hill

Marla talks to the MC about VIc's accident.

Old Bellchen & Amber

Old Maja (This model was only used in this one scene. The one in CH3 was already different.

New

Old Vic

New Vic

New scenes in Chapter 2.

The heist with Bella doesn't end in the Holgerson's front yard; instead, there's a new scene in Bella's kitchen. (My fav.)

Most of Chapter 2 will feel new, but the next scene is a result of changes made to the class.

How did they end up in a bathroom?

Finally, a small new scene, which also sets up the Sai confrontation in Chapter 3.

Now to Chapter 3.

Old Mila gym

New Mila gym

Old Mila lounge

New Mila lounge

New Clothing store with Bella

Chapter 3.5 now.

I only changed scenes where the old Mila model was present until the changing room.

That was pretty much it.

There are cases where I just changed 1-5 renders. For example, there was a scene with the very old Robin model. (Chapter 3).

Also, a little bus scene was added to Chapter 2, etc.

The CH5 Full is pretty much the size of a new update.

I know some scenes aren't up to date in terms of quality. For example, Chapter 3 has a bar scene with Ayua, etc.

I would only do it if the Steam verification takes longer than expected. Then, I would do 25-30 extra renders for the bar scene in Chapter 3.

But the moment Steam gives me the green light, the game will be released on Steam and a few days later on Patreon.

It's time to finally move on from Season 1.

The next log will be a simple post where I'll tell you guys that the game has been shipped to Steam and is being verified for release.

Is it my imagination or Vic looks more mature now? Not complaining, at least for me she looks even more attractive now.
