Well, there is some change in the background story! In the earlier versions of SG Ayua said Nika had to either marry her or one of her cousins to learn some special martial arts moves.Well, it's this game, Summer's gone, that's ayua who's drunk lol.

In Wiab Miru, Ayua´s mom once said that she wants 4 kids. So this is obviously now canon background that Ayua has siblings. But we can theorise that from her cousins some are actually halfsisters. Ayua´s new clothes and general style is clearly inspired by Leia, her aunt and her Dad´s twin sister. So if Leia is a major factor in her life, Willi, Leia and Miru must have found a modus vivendi. Which also heavily implies Willi and Leia did what they already wanted years before Wiab plays.

So the "initial release" that has been changed and no longer relevant? Also, when I said characters being introduced logically, I was responding to the comment about the additional newly introduced characters and not the original/established characters.

first season Finished, now we just have to wait for chapter 1 of the second season next year
Meh. It's whatever. I just wanted to share the realization I had that I haven't played Summer's Gone in a damn long time lol. Don't even really have as much free time or the will to play these as I once used to. I just like dicking around on the threads.
I don't really know what's going on but from my perspective, most of the popular VNs all kinda jumped the shark when they started taking a year or longer to update. I just don't feel as invested in them as I used to. With all of these VNs that have been in development for years now, it just feels like "same shit, different pot". Writing keeps getting shittier, the censor/ban hammer is coming down, devs take so long I just end up forgetting or not caring because I'm not about to wait a year just to be either bored or disappointed with the story to then wait another year for the next part.
Again, I don't know what's going on but my guess is that the dev will be fine and no one will be better or worse off. If I'm wrong and whatever is happening really does make it all crash and burn then whatever, I guess. Either way, I still have a few favorites and maybe even still donate sometimes if I trust the dev. For the rest, I'll just play whatever's updated if I get around to them. But at the rate my backlog of updated VNs keeps growing, chances are some of these will be "Completed" by the time I make it through the whole thing.
My overall supposition is that we're in this weird transition period where the internet is becoming dull (again) and meanwhile AVN devs are trying to ... well I don't know what the fuck they're doing exactly but I hate it. All of it. Some players will move on and new ones will replace them and this medium of entertainment will forever feel different to the first groups of people who played them but it's not like the devs will care and it's not like new people will care either. Which I understand, if I were a dev I'd rather cater to the ones actually paying me and the platform I use to sell my product. For the new people, it's not like they'll know how it used to be.
Only question now is, what's next? AI Porn here we come! We all just make our own VNs!

I never was the biggest Nami fan but the changes to her with the chapter 2 and 3 rework are great imo.
She's more confrontational and provocative towards Bella and (even) more protective towards Nika. It makes her look more confident and the bella/nami rivaliry a bit more alive.
I really like that Ocean changed that Nami doesnt snitch on Nika to Nojiko when you go on the heist with Bella. It always annoyed me a bit and is way better like that imo, it never fit the tone of Nami and Nika always have each others backs, no matter what.
Its a very little and simple change but really elevated my opinion of nami.

Not gonna lie. The new renders especially the heist and the basketball game are WAY better than before. For me it was well worth the wait. Plus the small added ones. And there are still tons of naked titties in there, I don't know what some people complain about.
Dev is planning on retiring with these 2 works for sure, renders are great, but with the amount of patrons and money hes netting per month he can probably make 5 grade A studio games.

I think most people are complaining that he added some nice lewds, and then took them away from us. If you've been playing update to update it's pretty shitty. The game is complete bait but for some reason, he wants to turn it into Hillside.
Agree ... the story was sapose to be based MC getting better ... gone off track with wired characters. I thought Bela & MC was going to improve mc health but more stupid characters are added.all i really care about is there more story content? sick of replaying the same shit over and over again and ending up not even catching up to the last story content i almost remember playing. yes, i am fucking old and my memory ain't what it used to be so replaying the story is a must..just hate replaying the same story over and over again..oh wait, i said that already..damn getting old and losing memory sucks..
$73 is enough ... pulling out. hope it will be replaced by steam'.

I played every update and still I disagree.
At least Hillside isn't retro-actively censuring itself. I don't mind a slow burn, I love both Hillside and SG; but what gets my goat is the bullshit he's pulling. It's a slippery slope.

It is starting to rain 1 star rating. I cant blame them this VN is barely and adult game and now it is being censored. Make it worse it is now even censoring some words to be politically correct dafuq is that. It was great till it last cause someone sold their soul to the devil to earn more but is it really worth it?
